Today is the 23rd of March. It has almost been one month since return posting the faulty Ems cartridge to nonfinate electronics. This was at request of them, they promised a full refund. I have emailed them many times since posting the item without reply, they have completely ignored me. I have been trying to resolve this problem since 17/01/14, this is totally shocking customer service. I work offshore as part of the Royal Navy, so my 3 month vacation is almost over. They have not managed to correct this situation in that period of time which is embarrassing! I would strongly recommend others not to use this website.

I understand your frustration, but don't be such a spaz. Dude's been in the scene for years and providing the community with some bomb ass gear and mods. It's not like he's some random dude who just started selling stuff. Like, try to be understanding. Whatever the situation may be I'm sure dude will sort it out and get your your money and/or goods. Honestly do you think he'd ruin his reputation just for a lousy $20 (or whatever it is you spent)?

I find your post quite insulting, how many months would you say is acceptable to wait before making a public post?. I work offshore as a marine engineer so im certainly no 'spaz'. Because of this i work 3 months on, 3 months off.I received the faulty cartridge  at the start of my vacation and was hoping to have it sorted out within the 3 months I have off. This has been going on so long that I now only have little over 2 weeks before returning to work. So if its not resolved by then it likely wont be as I have no access to the internet where I work. You think EMS cartridges are $20? Where are you getting them at that price?

If I had a customer who's first reaction to an honest mistake was to post a warning on a place where most of my customers go I might not be too inclined to fix the mistake.

Two weeks and four emails isn't really a first reaction. A customer is entitled to what he paid for regardless of his behavior. I'm sure that isn't the case here. You can't steal from somebody for giving you a bad review. That's a horrible mentality.

Are you located in the US. Anonymouse? It's pretty standard policy to not offer a refund until the returned item is received. Perhaps the item is still in transit?

Im not located in the US. I live in Scotland. I understand that they won't issue a refund without receiving it. I sent it airmail so it will be with them by now. Ive actually been trying to resolve this situation since 17/01/14. Its only recently that I have made it public.

I have been contacting them since 17/12/14 about this issue. Extremely poor service.

Have you ever thought that they might not be the problem? If I had a customer who's first reaction to an honest mistake was to post a warning on a place where most of my customers go I might not be too inclined to fix the mistake.

Please read my first post. This is not my 'first reaction'. I had been trying to contact them for over a month(since 17/01/14) without reply before I made a public post. I gave them a months opportunity to reply to my emails before I made it public. I think that is more than reasonable.

I just want to say that I live in Norway and I've ordered from them about six or seven times, always got my stuff and fast. And they've responded to my e-mails and apologized for not answering for a few days because of the holidays etc....so make of that what you will.

I have been contacting them since 17/01/14 about this issue. Extremely poor service.

I have now sent 4 emails since returning the item to them on 27/02/14 without reply or refund. Their customer service is appalling, I feel they have stolen my money. PEOPLE, PLEASE BE WARNED!

Not quiet sure, I placed a order on the 28th, and canceled the 5th cuz it was taking too long to send &
I wasnt going to be here to get the items.. still waiting to even get a "refund email" but from what Kerry was saying they are doing alot
of switching and what not...kinda aggravating but understandable, may look else where tho

Regardless of the situation, having to wait 2.5months without the situation being resolved is disappointing.

.

Since return posting the item to the seller on 27/02/14, I have sent 3 emails to them without reply or refund. This leads me to believe that they are actively avoiding me or their customer service is extremely poor. I have been contacting this seller for 2 and a half months with this issue and it is yet to be resolved. They have my money and now also the item I have returned.

I posted the item back as requested by the seller. It was posted on 27/02/14. I have since contacted them twice with photos of proof of postage and photo of package with stamp but yet to receive a reply. Quite disappointing really.

I have since posted the faulty cartridge back to seller and awating refund as they have kindly offered me one. Sorry for delay in updating thread. I got called to work at very short notice. Im an offshore engineer so dont always have the internet.

Hi again all. They have contacted me via email. Hopefully it is in the process of being resolved, I will update the thread with the outcome.

If you see he is active on here why no PM em?
only ask cuz i've ordered from him alot and never had issues

I did message him on here (3 times) - I said this in my opening post.

----------------------------------------UPDATE 02/04/14--------------------------------------------------------

Well after 71 days (22/01/14 - 02/04/14) of pursuit I have finally received a refund! This didn't come without continual persistence though. In the end I had to track down a phone number and call him from overseas as my emails nearing the end were all unreplied too. I understand that his business is going through a transitional period, but 3 months to get a refund?! Though I am happy with the outcome, I must be honest, I don't believe i will be ordering from this website again. In the end it wasn't worth the effort for a $45 refund and I certainly wouldn't have got it if I gave up at any point of the journey. But I am grateful for it and thanks again.

Some people may think this critique sounds a little harsh but I am giving my honest opinion of events and believe my thoughts are well just considering the circumstances.

-----------------------------------UPDATE 08/03/14 ----------------------------------------------------------
Since creating this topic, the seller has since contacted me and offered a refund. But after posting the item back on 27/02/14 I am still waiting for any reply to my emails sent to them and still waiting for a refund.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This may get taken down but I think it would be of benefit for other potential buyers

Around about 12/01/2014 I made an order at nonfinite Electronics. Unfortunately one of the items was faulty (a flash cartridge). I had tried it on other gameboys and various other methods to try to remedy the problem. None of which worked.

I contacted the seller giving a detailed description of the problem and things I had already tried. To which I didnt receive a reply. I sent a further 2 emails over the space of two weeks and also didnt get a reply. I then messaged the seller on this forum as I see he/her is active. Yet again without reply. As of writing this it is about 5-6 weeks after order.

I am very disappointed with the service of this seller as they have clearly ignored the problem and brushed me aside. The seller obviously has no interest once the item has received the customer, even if it is faulty.

I would suggest others take caution before using this seller. I have since changed to kitsch-bent which I should have done years ago!

I'll try this when I return home from holiday. But the sav file on lsdj was still intact when using the Ems software

As the CPU and sound is from the super game boy and not the snes, would using a clone system to run lsdj work ok?

I'm looking to setup a dedicated lsdj system for my tv and would like something small.

I live in the uk and snes' s can be expensive. We never got the snes 2 (sns 101). Does anyone have one they would be willing to sell?
