Flash a file to it then read it back and try to play the read back on in an emulator. Will rule out a cart issue and narrow it down

How did I do that? It's not a drag n derp cartridge so isn't seen as a viewable storage drive

Thanks for your suggestions. I've opened it up and inspected it. There is no visual dry solder joints or bad connections. The contacts are in good condition. I've tried inserting it with only the half case on and pressing different parts of the board. All give the same results.

It connects to the computer and transfers files perfectly. It just doesn't play them right.

Sounds good. I'll need to get one of these sorted out then

I bought an Ems cart a few weeks ago (not from kitsch bent) but it isn't working correctly. It initially worked fine but after using LSDJ for 10 minutes it crashed then I was unable to get it working after that.

It either hangs on the gameboy screen, continuously reloads gameboy screen, white screen or when it does load it has audio glitches and crashes after about 5 seconds. I have tried reloading roms of different games and pages, holding the cartridge firmly in, wiggling it in different positions, removing/reinstalling battery, blowing... but I get the same results.  I get these problems on both my gameboy colors and GBA. I have one other EMS cartridge which works perfectly.

Does anyone know of a solution as the website shop has not replied to any of my emails over the past few weeks. I've since bought a replacement from kitsch.

I'm considering buying a snes and using a super game boy to run lsdj. What are the pros and cons of using this with lsdj? Is there anything that should be noted? If I do this I'll be adding a jack and ps/2 port to the super game boy

I'm on holiday at the moment, will be back in 3 weeks so I'll have a go then. I'd imagine that it won't be much better if any, but it is worth a try

I've bought 3 of these. I wish I read this first as I would have only bought one to test. Maybe try sticking an anti glare screen to dimple side to try to help diffuse the dimples. You could use one for an iPhone and cut it to size. I'll probably try this when I get home and try it oit

Hi there, I am having trouble with postage costs on kitsch bent. I am getting charged twice for postage. When I select my country in the basket it adds $10. Then when I go to PayPal it adds another $7. I made another order yesterday but didn't check if it did this

Is this normal?

I don't wear glasses, my eyes are pretty good. I think it may just be how dim the screen is. It's not because of the flickering.

What are people's opinions on a jack modded sp?

Does anyone get sore eyes from using a gameboy color? I get this and it really makes making music a chore. I think it may be due to the lack of backlight as I think I wouldn't get it from an sp and I don't get it from my phone which has a smaller screen.

I have bought the new front light kits from kitsch bent.

Can anyone comment who has a front light mod? Does it make your eyes strain less?

If only lsdj keyboards really worked ... those look awesome

I havent had any problems with these keyboards at all. I found that if you select 'keyboard' each time you switch it on there is not issues.

Hi there,
I have been testing out various kicks and found that if I use this kick in the wave channel it quietens all other channels when played together. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zscD75k8G1g .

Does anyone know if this is the same for all kicks in the wave channel and is there any work arounds? Id really like kicks in the wave channel so I can get to Pulse channels for melodies.

Hi there. The Mini keyboard is a De vit I believe (I removed the badge). Its surprisingly good quality.

Hi John Riselvato, Ive only got the large one for sale at the moment. I have added title stickers to it like the black one and soldered in the Gameboy cable. Ill take photos of it and upload them here in 2 days. I am just leaving Belgium at the moment so don't have time to right now.

If you are interested I will find out postage cost when I get back home in 2 weeks and send you a total. I accept Paypal.

Happy new year from Scotland!

I have made two fully working LSDJ keyboards and was wondering if anyone would be interested in buying?

I am going to keep the mini black one to take traveling with me, but if anyone is interested I can buy another one (they are new keyboards) and make it to order.

Im not doing this to make money, just to help people out.

The keyboards in the photo are only simi finished. I will fully wire the gameboy cable inside the keyboard, so no joining of cables. They fit GB or GBC. I wont be painting them, you can pick colours. The larger keyboard does come with black painted keys. You will get all the extra keys with them aswell.

Im looking for £15 + postage. I will be able to post them in 3 weeks time as I am abroad working (im a nautical engineer).

Im a big sega fan and collector. I am very interested in this. Will there be another print run? If there are any left I can order now.
