I made a custom GB to run on LiPo USB rechargable battery, I just soldered the 5v power to the pins where the powerpack port is on a GB. Works perfectly, and easily.

Visit http://3ds.guide for how to hack and install CFW, but if you've updated to 11.3 your outta luck

I don't do the Facebook, but I've bookmarked your shop! I want flashcards! And VGA out!

Damn shame that

If ENDING MAN takes GB carts, I'm buying it! Is it just a reshelled Kong feng?

For my keyboard I used the cable from a 4 player adapter, as that already had the power lines wired in. Works like a charm too!

Unsure, never touched Qi. But if the voltage out of the coil during charging is around 3.3v, it should (in theory) work. I'd just buy one and test it out with multimeter in hand. If not, a capacitor may be able to soak it up, and push into the charge circuit at regular intervals. Definitely not outside the realm of possibility

EDIT:- of course, if the current is too low it could take an age to charge

This looks great! Mind talking a bit about how you got the graphics on there so cleanly?

Cheers! Well, first of all, Photoshop - got the graphics from the 3ds, and edited a Yoshi egg into it - gives it a bit of Links Awakening flavour.

Then I cheated, and printed the decals out onto decal paper. Sealed that with acrylic spray, then I just cut to size, dupped in water, and slid the graphics onto the case. Left a horrible white border around the logos which I hid with some warhammer miniature paints. Then a spray over the lot with some cleat coat, and boom! Product as you see it.

Because of the decal paper I used, I'm not sure how long it will last. Too much sweat and moisture and they may just come straight off. Its _definitely_ not dishwasher safe!

But as it is, my buddy was real happy with it - and it'll last forever as a pretty piece for the shelf!

He doesn't care about chiptune, so no mods added other than the backlight, so all in all was a pretty easy custom.

I know _exactly_ why I have this boner

Oh shi- that's gorgeous, in a "saved by the bell" kinda way. Is it compatible with GB carts?
