I'm incredibly excited!  I will be ordering a Powerpak or Powerpak Lite + CopyNES soon.  Is the final mapper layout SXROM then?  So excited!!!  NEIL IS THE MAN!

Yes, I don't see how it can be done without SXROM - it's the only thing that supports 32KB NVRAM.

Hopefully there'll be a mapper update soon for PowerPak.

This doesn't really matter to me much.  I'm sure Powerpak will be updated soon especially because of this  new software.  smile  Regardless I can always use a Repropak with an eprom burner anyways.  Keep up the fantastic work!  big_smile

Hey Neil, if everything goes right I will have a Dingoo in the next few weeks. I can test the program there - i'm not a good beta tester but I can tell if anything goes wrong or even if the sound is terrible, etc. I dunno how the specs of the emulators for dingoo, but probably they manage to save it nice.

About two years ago, I made this thread on the nesdev forum:

And it's just so mindblowing (and vindicating) to me to see the developments that have occurred since I posted my initial query.

Will Pulsar feature a sync option?
When reading the "10 Blargg Bootstrap USB Cartridge" thread it sounds as if it's possible to achieve via a game port.

Whoa, that's freaky. I honestly never saw that thread before now though I obviously concur with your "can do" ethos smile

I now think I'm addicted to writing NES trackers LOL

Yep, pretty much sums up the current status of sync.

I have been swapping PMs with Batsly about this stuff recently but don't expect any major announcements just yet. I will strive to get this working though as it was exciting to see NTRQ & LSDJ in sync, even though back then it was a little flaky.

Just remembered I don't think I ever posted up the video of it working did I?

I'll fix that later tonight when I get home.

That is seriously wicked!  The triangle sounds awesome!  Also I take it from what I've seen so far, it wouldn't be too difficult to change the pallet?

smile nice isn't it....

Yep, interface built with palette changing in mind. I'm going to put something in the options/setup page so you can change them.

Ignore the graphics at the bottom for the time being. I've got this idea of assigning some parameters to a couple-or-three graphic 'knobs' then you can modify them in real time. Nothing you can't do through the hex numbers but quite a nice visual thing.

Killer!

Keep up the good work, Neil!

Pulsar looks and sounds amazing so far.

I can't wait to try it myself.
