I think Nanoloop is just geared towards making loops whereas LSDJ is more for songwriting. In my experience with Nanoloop one I've found that it's pretty hard to write a song with long melodies, so you have to focus on fitting your idea in one or two patterns. Not necessarily bad, but it's not my style.

This is exactly why I switched to lsdj and I've never looked back.

Because there are free trackers you can try before throwing down any money at all for lsdj. Some people never get used to the tracker layout and trying something else first might be beneficial in that sense.

psyched to see Zen Albatross and ExileFaker back for another round smile  Also can't wait for Kodek, Infinity Shred, and RADLIB OMGZ.

It depends- lots of times if you go in there and tweet/facebook about it, people will come in and start hanging out. To me it's like inviting your friends to a bar- you can go there, but don't expect anyone to be in there unless you've invited them.

Just curious if anyone has experience with this. It's significantly cheaper than the 1541 Ultimate, but I'm wondering if with the low price comes a decrease in speed/reliability or anything like that.  I'm intending to use this for running trackers like SDI, JCH, etc.

Thanks guys!

I think the ROM  for the game boy camera itself doesn't work unless the camera part of the original cartridge is present.  I remember hearing this back when people wanted to use that ROM for Trippy H on flashcarts.

Would this also work on the Nomad? I've noticed the audio from the video/audio combo jack is pretty noisy hmm

This is going to be awesome. Solid lineup!

This is a great place to start, written by the master of circuit bending, Q. Reed Ghazala himself. I'd start there.
Good luck!

BUMP because this is TONIGHT!

tweezers work too for that- they take up less room under the foil. however, they definitely make your fingers ache like hell afterwards. totally worth it though. FEEL THE BURN!

Yeah I agree- While I'd love to own one of these, if Johan isn't on board I wouldn't feel right buying one. I'm pretty sure lots of people would feel the same way about it.

I've always wondered... how do you guys change the tracks? I mean, the loading time... doesn't it kill the show? I've always supposed i would use 2 gb with the same 2 .savs and play each song on each gb to avoid the silence, I'll definitely do that

Yup, that's what I do actually. two game boys makes it so the gaps between songs are minimized.
