THere we were the other day talking about problems and now it seems you fond a few.
I hope they get solved, I will read this thread with attention. All these stories keep me still a bit reluctant about grabbing a MSSIAH, being Ableton Live my main composing tool nowadays.

But how would the novelty of a stupid viral based around, basically, a 3D effect gimmick, work as a full length movie?

AHX doesn't work on the stock Amiga 500.
You need KICKSTART 3.0+ and you can't go wrong with a minimum of 1.5MB of Chip RAM.
It does NOT run on Kickstart 2.04 (A600), even less 1.3, 1.2 etc (A500).

Unless you upgrade that A500 (pointless) you can't run it. Get an A1200.

I used to run AHX on my A600, I had 2MB of RAM but I had to softkick Kickstartn 3.1 into it, which consumed 512KB of that extra RAM. It run on the limit but it ran. That was before I got an A1200 of course.

Why does any press mention about anything or anyone related to chipmusic mean the beginning of the end? The hoardes of bad chipmusic have arrived years ago despite media exposure. So don't blame media for shittune, the "end" arrived from the online community itself.


Big ups to whoever got media exposure in this occasion and ever, and I hope more people that really deserve it and can truly represent the proper scene get more media exposure.
