Nikaena Vizukae was on one of their "reality" shows

I meant Mr. Spastic's music. A bit more related to this forum wink

It sort of HAS to be a remix. :

Then it's not a cover. Also, a remix calls for original material to be used. If this is a COVER compilation, the COVER should sound like the original. Otherwise it's an "acoustic re-version" Or something tongue

I agree with Bit Shifter, I can show you 4 different versions of each one of my tracks that are extremely different to each other and all done by me. Unless you are super narrow, re-interpretation of your own material should be cool and varied.

In any case, sounds interesting, if I had any recording gear, I would participate, then again, I have no instruments anymore, they take space ;P Maybe I can lend a piano somewhere...

still amazed you're able to fund all this...

it's not as hard when everyone is going there mostly on their own means which is what happens with most chipmusic shows, not jst this one.

Cheaptoon artists are the best funding association ever ;P

The rhythmic arrangement sounded more like 2-step than drum and bass. The snare needs to be more pronounced to make a proper dnb beat because as it is there's no syncopation, only a " BUUM,BUUUMM, BUM BUM, BUM" . Also the bass in dnB seems to be missing tongue.
I agree with L-Tron's views too.

Whoever owns a Kaoss pad shouldn't voice in this thread
tongue

I was  given the Gakken for free.
Its usability or that of this Korg toy is negligible.

I don't see anything wrong with liking side scrollers just because the industry is scared of them or whatever.

I never said it was a bad thing.
Horizontal ones have a completely different way of playing. I think I prefer them too. R-Type II has to be among my top all-time horizontal scrolling shmups.

Give Xexex a try, it's a mix of R-Type with Gradius.I really like it.
Salamander has to be another fave of mine too, I like it more than Gradius and Lfeforce (I don't like the powerup system)

You are a horizontal scroller dude, but those re not produced anymore sad How come Xexex is not on your list, then?

Regarding Darius, though, I gotta say I *really* liked Darius Gaiden. But that's the only one.

I prefer Milky because of it being cross platform. I can run it in my Mac or PC indistinctly (and my Mac G3 makes a great tracking machine big_smile).
