So i remember a "gigs/travel/couches" sub-forum from another place that shall not be named. I like the idea of individuals providing crash spaces for travelling artists, and vice versa. Though, finding a place to bring this up on a website I like has been a bit difficult.
Thoughts?
I know this may not be the forefront of ChipMusic as a whole. I'm not suggesting the focus should shift from music to social-networking. I just want to be able to think of at least visiting far-off lands where someone else gets the whole gameboy thing.
uhmmmmm . .
I'm done with my track
Eh, anyone willing to answer a question on a forum isn't going to feel robbed of their time.

my dad wishes i was in a band again
this sums it up for me.
When I told him I have an MC, he suggested I change my name to "Fiddy-Bit" So I guess it's nice he has a sense of humor, or ideas.
daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn
On a vaguely related note, I think it would be nice to be able to add a pair of coordinates and a date in a tag to live show posts so they would show up in a map or something.
I would be in favor of that. probably could help
i would looooove to play a chip-show in Prvovidence again
Yeah, I wish, though, that the Circuits Ole shows at Dorky's were all ages. As I am only 17, the whole 21+ thing really becomes a downer. The most recent X-Bit was great though (I tuned in via livestream). I HIGHLY suggest getting over to one sooner or later.
I spent a good chunk of my life in those shoes. Unfortunately with the deal we have with the venue, all minors have to be out of the barcade around 7 or something lame like that. Unless we could gaurantee a large underage turn-out AND provide security, an all-ages show is possible
Above all, I just want to say it's an absolute shame someone a short drive away can't attend because of age. Hope we cross paths sometime
I had to make a japanese PSN account, but I got LSD for the psx and it's great
isn't this basically Stepgirl?
exactly what i was going to say
Just add some info about the west coast:
Thanks to the dudes at X-Bit, Seattle chipmusic shows have been pretty fantastic. A usual crowd of ~60 people show up and new people discover it each time. I've been doing some stuff 30 minutes south in Tacoma called Circuits Ole. It's the first saturday of every month and it's at a giant barcade with a full stage, PA, beer, and a pretty alright crowd
let me know whenever you need any washington help !
