Now would be a good time for me to say that the only Final Fantasy game I enjoyed was FF3 on Famicom, and I didn't even play it all the way through. Final Fantasy just doesn't have enough of these:

You aren't going to find very man (if any) mint condition C64s. Why, you may ask? Because nobody would buy a C64 and leave it in the box. No, actually it's because the plastics used in the C64 are known for having far too high a bromine content. They age rapidly, resulting in serious degradation of the plastics. That, coupled with some serious design flaws in the original C64 motherboard design that would ensure a high failure rate for the SID, will ensure that a mint condition C64 is nearly impossible to come by. If the color is irksome to you, you can always use Retr0Brite (or follow my tutorial for de-yellowing old plastics) to restore it's pretty gray color.

I don't own a Caanoo, but I have a friend who does. My take: it's a powerful little beast. It can run things which I only dreamed of doing on GP2X. The case is much improved, battery life is actually usable now, and the screen is quite nice too. Analog nib is a minor gripe when playing things like 2d fighters, but that's why I have a Neo Geo arcade system. If I hadn't just got myself a Zipit Z2 (and if I had enough to buy a Caanoo, which I won't for a while) I'd consider one.

Apeshit- Your best bet for color matching might be to just buy clear buttons and dye them along with the case, so that they get to be the same color.

Do a remix, do a tribute. It's the same to me, but it NEEDS to be based off Tron Legacy in some way. You decide how that works, if you just want it to be in the spirit of the first Tron and more Daft Punk like, sounds fine to me.

But in all seriousness, if you feel like you're super interested in helping out with a contribution or whatever you're certainly welcome to PM me. At this point though I don't need things that people can give to me though- mostly just time and space. As it turns out I should be getting my workshop/bedroom back tomorrow (thank goodness) and I can do some more stuff.
To be honest, the pace the project has been going at has had me down for a bit here. Thanks for the encouragement guys, you rock.
