in fact, there are a few people doing this with EMS carts, the only recurrent issue i'm aware of (on all the carts) is that bank-switching is near impossible on the SGB (but not entirely, you've just got to be quick about it)


couldnt you just rig a switch to restart your nes? spst momentary normally open would work instead of sliding it? i think thats what you mean
or by bank switching do you mean the actual speed of the rom being transferred?

i use a plastic pen. take out the ink/tube and melt the tip of the pen. then shove it on top of the screw and let it SET. then twist smile i took apart a few cart screws this way

try 30 awg kynar wire =]
for prosounding, try thinking geometry. the shortest distance between 2 points is a line. so which ever point is closer to another point, snag it =]
for the arduinoboy and ltc oscillator, my theory is that the gameboy runs on something like 4.x MHz. the arduino runs on 16 with its own processor and crystal. so i don't think it would make it crash. test it and see what works =]
