Been playing off and on. I wait till my bro in law comes over so we can co op. It is worth the wait. I think this game is about ten times funner with another person and some SNACKS.

Poor guy. That just pissed me off.

I was thinking of doing it like a combination. you can show up for free but I will have several kits set up that they can pay for. nothing would be for profit. have em pay about the same price I bought the stuff for. It would just be a bit convenient I think for some people to get started immediately.

yeah this thread is gold. I love the video man. slo mo dolphins are epic! Cannot wait to create a chip tune video from monotonous videos and pictures lol

I knew nothing about music (well I guess I still do not) when I started messing with LSDJ. a year and a half later I made my first actual track but it was garbage so I never uploaded. Its been a steady building up since then and have only uploaded a few tracks since a lot of the stuff I make is pretty lousy. It is not a real knowledge of music but more like a general feeling. I couldn't tell you why something sounded the way it did or where I placed notes or even reproduce the notes playing on any of my songs. Which is probably the main reason I am having a hard time learning ableton live since the lsdj knowledge is all I have and it doesn't translate well.

I was thinking about maybe a year or two down the line doing a workshop in the central valley of CA. probably in Fresno. People would pay the cost of the gameboy and a cheap cart with lsdj on it. maybe have em pay 40 bucks or so to buy the items needed or they could simply attend and bring their own or just watch idk. Just a thought I was having. Teach a bunch of others the basics of LSDJ mayhap.

I wont play live until I am doing something more than just triggering patterns personally. until then I am fine just making the mp3 and distributing it. Just my way of thinking. I would feel too odd just pumping my fist without doing anything musically. Looking up to Mr Keenes as far as chip tunes goes. At least playing a guitar I guess.

Just got one and I'm really happy with it. Haven't tested the nanoloop functions because I don't have nanoloop.

Question, though - is it possible to use one of these w/ Low-Gain's DMG-07 Gameboy Sync Box mod? http://www.flickr.com/photos/lameboymus … 419956111/  I tried to use it with a GBA SP and a DMG and the lights wouldn't come on. Not a big deal if it doesn't work (w/ LSDJ as slave I can use both off of one of your Arduinoboys w/ no extra cables!), but if there's a workaround I'd appreciate if you could point me toward it.

you would need something to sit between the arduinoboy and the DMG just to grab the clock and ground signal, then you could sync as many gameboys as you want from one arduinoboy.

and this really isn't ment to be a shameless plug or thread hijack, but because my midi gameboys have the arduinoboy wired inside, they leave the link port free to link with other gameboys, including with a DMG 07

WOAH. so I could link two gameboys together to sync as well as allow them to sync with ableton via midi??????
