Just don't advertise it as the "largest chip show"... It seems like you are trying to create competition or comparison to all other "chip shows." We should all be one loving family, and just be happy to even have shows where people actually show up.
Keep it positive, and all your dreams will come true.
Fuck that shit, mustaches are for beards.
correct and mine will be attached to one.
I thought it was about Steady C
thats bloody mean.
Fuck this shit, headliners ain't even gonna have mustaches.
BUT THE ACT BEFORE THE HEADLINER WILL.
SHABBA!!
Ah yes, this page again.. BUT HOW DARE YOU NOT BE TOO EXCITED ABOUT ADLIB. GRRRR.......
I really needed this laugh today.. THANK YOU ALL.
Well, anyone can build anything to make things work. Unless you are me who does no building of any kind. So this would be the cheapest alternative. (I would think)
and yea arfink, no one seems to talk about midi at all for any application. So I thought to post this and maybe inspire some conversations about it. Which Shiru did nicely.
So here and there, I've been buying random midi devices that I assumed would be compatible with MS-DOS. And by far the easiest one to set-up and works the best (in comparison) was the Gravis Midi Adaptor. It plugs into the gameport, and gives you Midi IN, Midi OUT, and even Midi Thru. Plus, it still has 2 gameport controllers on the other side, so you dont lose your gameport.
How to Install: Plug it in. The End.
It worked in Windows 98se, and MS-DOS, with no drivers to install whatsoever.
So for those who want some dos midi support with Impulse Tracker, or as a playback device with games, this is the one to get. I bought it on ebay for about $6.
My first with Anandnngucnancnguici. WERD. So all you CT peeps come to this show... ITS FREE!

I would call you a composer without a doubt. But names and titles shouldn't matter. From listening to your tracks, you dont need more music theory. Just keep making more tracks, and trying out new stuff. I guess it wouldn't really hurt to learn more music theory, but I can tell you its not that necessary. I barely passed music theory in college, and still don't really understand it. I know the surface of music theory, but everything I create is by ear. And as mentioned above, yes, I would say the MAJORITY of successful music acts/bands out there, are creating songs by ear.
As for knowing when a song is complete or not, I dont think there is an answer. You just have to decide when to stop messing with it. I could easily work on songs here and there forever, but that wouldnt be good. You can go insane working on the same song over and over, or the song can actually get worse.
I would say just keep doing what you are doing, and maybe look up some articles/info on music theory (basics) KEEP ROCKING THE 2A03
I bet you can get it working through win98 ...Im guessing there are drivers out there somewhere. But im not sure how well FT2 or IT runs through windows to begin with.
As soon as I finish building this other computer with win98 and awe64, Im gonna try and mess with all that midi and sync stuff
SBlive is PCI though right?
I've been meaning to try that out one of these days... hmmmm. I wish I knew more about dos and midi devices...
But you can put the Flying Toasters screen saver on it? CUZ THATS ALL THAT MATTERS.
