AW SHIT. see this is what we need. progress. why hasn't this had more attention?

btw any info on ETA? I want one of these puppies.

Have a look at that board as well... not spot for a battery. Does anyone get what this means?

High quality flash memory maybe? Or wizardry.

So, are we doing the blind voting thing? That seems like a goode way to do it.

All we need now is some directly accessible space.

We should roll our some sweet conversation and push the downloading of our awesome tunes so we can keep up the activity. Also, if someone would kindly change 8bc's 404 page to redirect here, that would be useful.

That right. Also go to the music section and give some CC.

It was the name of my hamster. And of course this little guy:

-Sometimes when starting up my GBC with my 64 USB Smartcard I am constantly booted to page 2.  With LSDJ on page 1 it's pretty annoying and no matter how many times I try "turning it off and on again" (shameless IT Crowd quote) it won't switch to page one.  I'll just have to let it sit while powered off until I try again later and it'll decide it's ready for page 1.

This happened to me one day and just stayed like that. Something broke. EMS carts are kinda cheap imo. Means a capacitor is out or something. I sent it back for a replacement. But the one I got back is in a case that's kinda warped. I would send it back for a new one but....eh not worth it.

In conclusion my next cart will be a bleepbloop from kitsch-bent.

hahaha, that was pretty cute. i thought that trash80 had just replaced that thread with a 404 altogether.

Your battery is probably fine. Someone more technical can explain it. Gameboy sav memory is touchy.

TEENX

I've had random save errors occur. It happens. FUUUUUUUUU! backup daily! Bleepbloop carts are more stable i guess.

I've also had random notes inserted in my songs that I didn't put there...sounded kinda cool.

FUCK YEAH!!! SOME PEOPLE!!!!

On the light side of the news, the music section hasn't had this many views ever.

I wasn't trying to say that CM is mature. I just happen to have a complaint about the forums over there. I like 8bc.

Okay here we go:

What is the 8Bitone like? Does it sequence well? There are mixed reviews on itunes.

Yeah it's cool. You can make songs with it. I would recommend nanoloop first, but yeah.

ant1 wrote:

how do you use a tracker on a machine with no keyboard?

Its tricky but it can be done. Yeah sunvox does it. I'm not sure if I'm going to do it like that.

pixls wrote:

If there was a way to save patterns and sequence things, like, pull that idea to a full application capable of making a whole songs.

Let me clarify, The Kaoscillator thing is a seperate idea from the tracker/songmaker thing. It would be a live tool.

Decktonic wrote:

I like this idea. Maybe a totally new take on making sounds rather than just trying to tap a tiny keyboard or enter notes on a cramped grid.

Exactly, that's been the problem with a lot of iphone apps. Especially for live use.
