Ppps: jose made some major mistakes which inspired this sites launch, like facebook is to myspace, we felt there needed to be a better option for the chipmusic community which was open, free for use and free from ads, and didn't make you feel like a dirty whore after use.

Yeah, seems shady. But... are there ads on 8bc?

gizmo- so all that's left to you is to write a Kaossilator emulator.

Bing bing bing!! That's a good one.

Thanks guys, I have a better idea of some things to make now. big_smile I'll let you know when I have something.

Edit: Actually one more question.

How would you guys feel about a synthesizer that generated patterns and modualtions algorithmically, based on you drawing little shapes or something? That might go good with the kaoss osc thing.

hehe.. I thought we were in the buisness of cheap toys here. Nanoloop for iphone is the shit, and Sunvox is quit similar to ds-10.

go for it, I for one would have fun trying out something new

Well I'm definatly gonna make some kind of music tool. Something for making a whole song when you're on bus rides would be cool. Yeah this tracker thing might be a good idea...i think it could be done....maybe. tongue

I wish half of these people engaged throughly in 8bc where half as engaged in the rest of the community. Maybe Id know who the fuck they were then. I really want to know who you are, but 8bc has alot going against it in terms of promoting anonymity.

This is kinda reminding me of the last big blackout when I met all my neighbors. Hope we stay in touch!

signed, the first user to upload a file on 8bc,

What do you mean by not promoting anonymity?

I think what he means is there are shit loads of 8bc users who aren't really engaged with the community. 8bc is casual and promiscuous by it's design. I think that's what he meant.

That might be tough. I was thinking more like a live tool or something. Whatever really, just spitballin.

Then again, maybe I could adapt the concept of a tracker into a simpler interface. I hate piano rolls.

I've already had some dudes hit me up about doing a show before Blip so I'm going to see what I can do. Something after could happen as well. Though let it be known that there are other people out here who have much more experience with booking shows than I do (the one of the 13th is the first show I've ever set up).

For me, going to Blip would be more about seeing other artists that I can't see at any other time. No offense to SoCal dudes, but I can see y'all play anytime. If some of those fancy European assholes end up on the Blipfest bill, well, unless we're going to pay for them to come out here, it's worth it to go.

I havent seen you SOCAL assholes yet. A biggish event in the future might be an excuse. You do have a point tho.

you know what, let's just stay in LA and play "REALBLIP" an AWESOME wescoast rendition of what y'all peoples is doing. I'm sure that we could do this. and hey, going to NY would be way too much money and unnecessary work. Let's do our own thing, no disrespect, but just an industrious spirit. I'm oficially NOT going to NY, I'm putting on an awesome thang at LA.

Well I asked him why he quit and said that he cant find an IEC jack, whatever that may be. I'll ask him about releasing the plans tho. Would be cool. But I'll probably just end up going with one of the SD card solutions.

Just to verify about the c64tpc, yeah he's stopped making them for now. sad Still considering which option is best.
