goals.
1) move
2) get work
3) release stuff
4) have a separate studio setup.

1 and 2 are interchangeable.

I think it is good constructive criticism to say that a large population of this community should stop and think about what they are releasing. why not ask "is this group of songs worthy of a release?"
a bit of quality control by the artists couldn't hurt.
I know personally i dont listen to a lot of new releases simply because i would rather not waste my time being disappointed.

If you make something you want to release but isn't really of good quality why not just share with friends instead of just dumping into a overflowing pool of mediocracy? you can get some constructive criticism and work on things until it is worthy of you being proud of it.

I am not being negative. I think its just good advice to any one.

being excited about making chip is cool but why not make sure its something to be excited about?

to our other members that are unhappy with the mediocracy why not try to help out talented artists instead of yelling at shitty ones?

To all you getting into a shit fit... whats wrong with discussing these matters?  I think that if we all took a little time to contemplate what we are doing makes us better artists and can help us to grow. nothing wrong with that.

This tutorial shows you the basics of sidechaining in LGPT.

"Notes:
There are several ways to emulate sidechaining in LGPT. Sidechaining is a common effect used in music production where a sound source drops its volume to make room for another sound to be heard clearly in a mix.
In this tutrorial i emulate this concept by manualy drawing out volume envelopes with commands and tables.

The example made in this tutorial uses a sidechain with a slow release to more easily demo its effect. feel free to actually speed up the release for a more subtle effect."

FM / sound font import / subtractive synthesis engine / ping-pong looping of samples / more traditional effects like distortion, phaser, reverb / granular synthesis / live effects screen over the master output with beatrepeat, filters, and other dj type stuff.

cray....

FM synth/sequencer would be rad with instruments and tracker style.

i think your using the wrong tracker for you dood. have you tried milky on caanoo or nitrotracker on the NDS they are both more traditional trackers with piano rolls and more channels available.

naming instruments would be cool.
ping-pong sample looping would be cool too.
a command for the sample resolution.
finer values for bit crushing levels.
some kind of noise generator would be really awesome... like a simple 2op FM synth engine but that might be pushing it.

i think some of the other features suggested are a little too ambitious or already can be done. i know for a fact vibrato is already posible via tables and pitch bending commands and a save as would be a huge cpu crusher for handheld versions with having to copy all samples and such.
