No. Again, this wasn't even supposed to be announced yet... The reason we didn't announce it is because we wanted to avoid these sort of questions. There is no time frame, when it's done it's done. There is no cost estimate that we are willing to commit to at this point.

User testing hasn't even commensed yet and the boards aren't populated. The first you will hear anything more about this project is when it comes to market.

Having been to Tokyo (and subsequently Aki) a few times and knowing that Tokyo residents order their carts/chip stuff online I'd say you're shit out of luck.

I've spend days wandering Aki and I'd say there is almost no chance you'll find what you're looking for. As nitro2k01 says it's just such a niche market that it wouldn't be profitable to sell these in stores.

tl;dr : You won't find one. Get one online

It's a limited run of 150 with 40 allocated to the artists which leaves 110 to sell through the site.
Of those we've already sold a bunch so I guess what I'm saying is you should be cool to wait on it for a few weeks but at the rate they are going I'd say don't wait too long. If you get worried I'll put one aside for you.
