HEY

This is kindof late to post this here, but I'm playing a livestream for Blake Morse of the Week in Geek podcast. Interview and music. Also; Blake's birthday. Should be fun! Might play new stuff.

It's at 1pm PST TOMORROW, Saturday July 7th.

This is the link for the livestream: http://www.twitch.tv/weekingeek

There's also a facebook invite; if you're in the SF bay area, you can come see the show live and enjoy the BBQ (byob... and meat)

I wrote a blog post about it? Not sure what else to put in this post.

Here's a picture of me playing, I think that's relevant. It was outdoors, I couldn't see my gameboy screens.

Oh also, Blake is a cool guy. If any of y'all are going to be in SF, you should try to book yourself to play this show. Do it in advance though, because apparently he's booked through the end of the year already, and this is show #2! (Minibosses were show #1).

Glowing Stars, Crashfaster and Awkward Terrible are all coming together. We're playing jamspace and also playing a legit show... I think? I'll post all the real info when I'm given all the details. Might be doing some Matthew Joseph Payne stuff too.

So, YES LET'S MEET UP DAWG

horizontal ... columns

If you have horizontal columns, then you have twisted the fabric of space/time so badly that it may be too late for us all.

I also have one I would be wiling to sell. In fact, I have just a case alone I could possibly sell. Talk to Timbob first, but if he changes his mind? Or you want just a case? PM me. smile

Yeah Matt I've had a lot of trouble with getting the screen covers to stick on, but I've always also had trouble keeping the front panel from bending slightly once I get (any brand) of backlight installed. Never figured out how to get around that.

Just about to attempt the mods from the cake boy up top but with 1/8th jacks cause it's all I have ATM. But will give me left and right still I hope. Anyone know if using stereo jacks will work for this mod? I'm assuming I just connect left for one of them and right for the other and leave the opposit sound tabs alone on either jack? If no ones knows or answers before I mod it I'll post my results here. About to do it in the next few minutes as soon as my smoke is done as soldering iron hears up

You can use stereo jacks, but if you're planning on plugging mono cables in, ignore the "ring" contacts. That being said, I'm not sure why you'd want to do this - mono 1/8" cables aren't that common outside of the modular synth world - so unless that's your plan, I think you'd be better off with a stereo jack anyway.

Jazzmutant themselves also released software for the iPad that basically replaces the Lemur's functionality.

Like the iPad though, the Lemur might have been waaaaay overpriced, but it's pretty rad. We have one at work, it's fun.

DMG-07s are rare?

You can build an entire arduinoboy into a DMG-07 btw, looks super classy.

New EP in July. Just a wee bit brassy. One-man-band. 6 tracks, six subgenres of jazz. Brace yourselves.

This is already my favorite album of the year.

I've been wishing for a more fully featured thing like mGB for ages - something where you can add and modify scales, make tonal changes, use the WAV channel, or make tones that use multiple channels? And save presets.

Not an insignificant project, I realize, but a guy can dream, right?

WAIT WHAT THE FUCK HOW DID I MISS THIS

I would have bought the shit out of a record. sad

That was an easy decision.

The SMDs are my only concern with a DIY kit. I would jump to buy either a complete unit, or a DIY kit with SMD components already installed.

I love that so much, when we finally buy a house I'm doing this somewhere on the property.
