because thats not really true. and from what ive learnt and read about mixing and mastering, is make sure you know the difference. your final mixdown is very different to mastering. on your final mixdown, you would not want a compressor or limiter on the master, unless you just want to compress it to a wall of shit and lose dynamic range.... i'd advise bouncing out the track after mixdown is complete at -6db and then getting someone to master it for you if you really want to. its worth it for sure if you have the money. if not sure do it yourself, use something like Izotope Ozone. its not the best thing, but hell, i didn't have money to get mine done so i did it myself. I wouldnt really bother paying anyone to master for you though if they have some bullshit 'studio' with no hardware. people have assured me they can master digitally as good as with say a universal audio compressor/limiter.....i seriously doubt that, and i am by no means a mastering expert, im not preaching, just letting you know what i learnt as general rule of thumb when i did mine. peace

im bumping this to see if you got the arturia in the end ? and how it performs....i have some money to spend on some hardware finally.....but im struggling to make a decision. I really could do with a synth, but also am tempted with the OP-1 because it looks mad fun and makes some dope sounds for sure.....but hten the dark energy sounds great too.damn the more i look around to make a decision the more i cant decide haha, so yeah reports on the minibrute yo ?

Id be very happy to stumble across FOD release on the releases section here. i mean it was nice getting the odd track but releases are better. There are many people are had in my '8bc random' folder that i goggled recently, and it wasnt hard to find that most had net label releases, tumblirs,soundclouds, releases on bandcamp etc.....and as i said before, i found more shit off a tangent from that, stuff those people had commented on on soundcloud etc.....i think if there was gonna be any system here....then favouriting tracks would be quite nice. but as said before you'd only see that from looking on beans profilez yo. anyway you can find lots of dope shit on my soundcloud. look at who i am following, you ll see its all dope cos im cool. im doper than dope and certainly doper than Will.i.am yo.
