Have you ever tried to turn your short stories into concept albums?
This is a great practice... working on the album helps your story progress naturally, and visa versa! A lot is revealed as you try to relate music to your plots/story's emotions.

Holy geez this reminds me of a more-organized Syd Barrett for some strange reason. Obvs your voice.
Great stuff, man.

Can you direct the program to the right folder that the driver file is in? Did you put the driver file in the place it says it looks for it? I don't have windows/use these anymore so I'm just guessing here. Sorry I can't help further.

It's there. For 32 bit windows systems it's here: http://www.hkems.com/files/GB_USB.rar

That has everything you need to figure it out. Kitsch-bent is pretty much the go to place for a lot of your chiptune needs (for me, anyways).

Sweet! I mainly just wanted to hang out with you guys again, haha. Toy Company is cool, too, though.

I'm sure you've read through all the software/driver software/drivers you need here? It's different for 64bit systems.

I emulated an xp environment using VMWare on my mac when I was using EMS carts, and that worked perfectly. 32bit, of course.

Yaa. I'm going up north to my cottage on the 11th, and I have to make it back to Guelph and Ajax, after. I wish I could come... I hope it's really fun, though! Let me know if there's anything else in September!

A crap load of modules utilized creating kits and specific sample instruments that can be placed together to make it seem like an 8bit-16bit instrument, though it doesn't sound as such at all.

Check this out, he recorded his guitar, I'm sure, and split it up into at least 20 different sample instruments/a kit:

same practice, but obviously the gameboy's capabilities are lesser than an Amiga's, etc.

Try and take a picture and post it here, then I'm sure people will stop saying you're a troll.
g2g watch some shark week.

WHAT this is insane! XyNo it's been too long! I'm in Quebec City right now at Laval University. I leave to go back to Guelph on the 10th:(
I want to go.

Damn, man, this stuff is so great. Love that trailer!
I am seriously considering getting some done pre-emptively for a project I'm thinking of starting.

WOOO!
Badass. That 'stache is pretty sweet, too.

damn that's sick.

This video moves pretty quickly, but this is exactly how I learnt circular breathing.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-LMiZHWdbU

Using a straw and a cup of water (I think) is the best way. That's just for circular breathing, though. In terms of making a sound on the didgeridoo, it's like playing a trumpet, but with looser lips... like a tuba or baritone. Also it's like making a horse noise with your lips. Just practice making a tone with the didgeridoo, and run out of breath doing it. Then practice the circular breathing technique above. It took me a while, but I thought it was the coolest shit imaginable. I'm sure there are better tutorials out there, but It'll come to you eventually:)
