As a starving uni student (not that you have to be a student to starve), I hear ya. 100 bones is a dent, BUT...
IT WORKS ON A MAC WITHOUT USING TERMINAL.
It's just a great convenience to be able to plug it in, drag...n derp. It makes the whole process so much faster... I don't have to start up VMWare (windows emulation) anymore just to transfer .savs and .gbs.
+1 for streamlining:)
...though my initial cart didn't work, haha. Sending it back and receiving another (knock on wood).
Been noticing some things about WAV basses when mixing my latest album. Notes E2 (E3 in earlier versions) are actually in the sub range, and if you have a sine wave, it will be almost inaudible on most systems. An A2 sits right the sweet spot of most bass EQ curves and will sound punishingly loud compared to lower notes.

mixing my latest album.
New album in the works ?
KiGB has givin me issues in the past.
When I'd set a WAV instrument to volume=1 it wouldn't even play it. The DMG plays it, but KiGB doesn't. Gambatte does.
This is why I use Gambatte.
Hahaha.
That's awesome, though. Nice one! Your lsdj lead is very characteristic. Every time I hear it I think of Heavy Weather.
Thanks:)
Great support.
+1
Ya I think the cart's defective. Tried a few different cables/OSs to no avail.
I know this thread is old as shit... but I am killing myself trying to look for a trusted GBA SP headphone/charger split adapter.
h...h...help?
Love it when "professional" opinion is pretty well informed:)
First things first, mixing is the only thing that is going to make your speech stand out.
Panning certain tracks left and right, while keeping the wav (speech) center will help it come through the mix. This is a good practice in general, not just for speech. Give the listeners a soundscape.
In terms of arranging the speech so it sounds good... I'm not so sure that there are any "tricks," but just play around with good mixing and humanizing the speech (don't put them on every downbeat tick, try and give them space and change the syllable when it's natural to do so).
I'm rubbish at the speech things, so this is just some theoretical input.
"have you heard of this new genre where dudes make music using the hardware limitations of old naval vessels from world war 2 it's called shiptune they have a web site for shiptunes it's called pearl harbor collective"
Best comment.
Just because it's been done before by a scene giant, doesn't mean you aren't aiding innovation:)
These types of things should be done more often for the sake of progress... but that's one side of the argument;)
That looks great if it works.
Well they make you download the whole 'environment' in order to keep the licensing and stability of the program proper... including the iOS supports.
I found 4.2, but it's also 1.7GBs
Everything I can find is either 1.5GBs or more:s
I don't have experience with Xcode so I wouldn't really know where to find an older version.
Do you know which version of Xcode specifically will work with Lion? Did you try this?
Which OS version are you using?
10.5? 10.6?
Which version of Xcode are you looking for?
