Just think of all the music that is stolen and sold direct for use in licensing that youd never know about.

Im just waiting for people to start selling raspberry pis in classic console enclosures. And then classic game consoles in other classic game consoles.

grunge-boys?

Ok lets look at another small manufacture musical instrument for about $700

Heavier duty knobs, robust looking metal connectors, a metal case, wood ends. The synthboy looks funky and would probably be a great conversation stater, but name one great chip artist using one. Its a status symbol more than a functional tool it seems. If they made a non docking version that was like 1/3ru with the knobs and all the features for $199 it would make much more sense to me. I just dont see where the money is going. As for RD, what new features have they added?

You would think for that price, you get at least parts that look a little more boutique.

Hopefully its something simple, but if works one place it should work everywhere with the latest ghetto.

sounds like a gp2x bug then, i wont have access to my gp2x for another week but ill point marc at this thread.

Try cleaning your gameboy, the fact that its only the  work sram getting corrupted maybe means the connection to the cart is flaky.

In either case OBSESSIVELY BACK UP.

The SNES cannot do FM synthesis. Its a sample based soundchip.

It should work fine, are you using the ghetto? Is the soundfont very big? You might need to stick to very small ones because of memory limitations.

Can you post the font somewhere so we can report it to marc?

I kinda agree with consoles. Trackers like LSDJ make more sense on portable devices, and trackers like the baldwin suite work on hardware because they are gear towards live playback and tweaking. If you want to compose NSFs or music for games, stick with famitracker.

Imagine how much it would be if he made it in a more expensive country as well. Short run electronic projects can easily run off the rails budgetwise.

yea but its basically mods with hardware reverb, right? I think the basic boringness of the chip has alot to do with the lack of tools for it.

for the snes youd probably be served by messing with modplug:

And then you can convert the xm to a spc format:
