The source-code is very interesting, but those pages and pages of .byt look like a really horrible way to compose music (if that's how it was done)!

If you want to go the tape method, http://wav-prg.sourceforge.net/ and http://ist.uwaterloo.ca/~schepers/personal.html are what you need.

It'll break things that use IRQ loaders, etc, for obvious reasons - don't expect to run newer demos like this! tongue

If you just want to play SIDs, little softwares you've written etc, it should be fine... I don't know about trackers - give it a try. smile

Can we use chiptune type trackers? ie:Famitracker, Milkytracker ect?

No, you can't.

"play"

/me raises eyebrows

edit: on that note, you might try taking a musical instrument on stage with you - I know I would find that more interesting. smile

Hiya! smile Nice to have you here, you are one of the best at making long comments, being friendly and making cool songs (quite nice things to be good at, imho).

I think it could be a fairly nice piece of eye-candy if being present at the gallery, it loses quite a lot as an internet video though (considering that we can see almost anything we want on our computer screens, it's easy to be bored by things we see there, for me at least). It's a shame that it seems to be an advert ("TRANSFORMING THE MOBILE EXPERIENCE"?) rather than a proper piece of art.

The only documentaries I'll ever need. smile

Because each person who knows what chip music is decreases our hipster cool by one point - we're only listening to this music because no one else we know has heard of it! wink

Why does being mentioned on a website about technology signal the beginning of the end? I'm sure it's happened before.

Much more scary is the Guardian (a national newspaper in the UK) telling people to check out 8bc's top likes chart. neutral

So many zombies!

Aleksi Eeben's newer electronica stuff is really good, as well as Mosaik (formerly Radix), Workbench, Xerxes, and mostly everyone from the Kahvi Collective netlabel.

I'm down for writing a tune!  Could we use MML as well to compose an NSF or does it have to be straight FT?  This is an awesome idea!  It'd be cool to see this spread to other platforms as well.

Famitracker only i'm afraid

This is a dumb rule! Why?
