Not sure if anyone mentioned it but: American Movie is beyond awesome. Oh and yes, Milwaukee is really like this.

I saw American Movie these days and I really got depressed (once again) for chosing the moviemaking area as main work 10 years ago.

"Standing in the Shadows of Motown", covering the hit-maker machine Funk Brothers, Motown's studio band. Really genius music and touching moments, perhaps my favorite "rock documentary".

Ronnie James Dio was a real DIO here in Brazil in the headbanging scene. The guy would gather more people on his gigs than any fucking White Stripes. R.I.P.

Hi all, thanks for your help.

The problem got solved last month in a really easy way: my usb/midi cable was SHIT, then I bought an edirol midi interface. No more retriggering problems or shit like that. I can even make the fastest ableton arpeggiators and MSSIAH will respond to it in a perfect way. smile

Akira, you said you already have a good midi interface right? Go for it, totally. This solved all my problems, not only with MSSIAH, but also with mGB.

Sorry for bumping this thread, just found it.

I began testing mGB with ableton live (finally upgraded to 8) and, just like the midiNES editor for ableton, I can't get this one to work. I open the editor inside ableton, drag and drop the effects to midi channel 1 (pulse), but when I tweak the knobs for the midi channel 1 effects, nothing happens.

I always used Ableton mostly for dj set and music recording, don't know shit about midi CC's... any clue on what I'm doing wrong? It's so damn important for me, 'cos beside mGB, I also use midiNES and mssiah!

thanks!

dmg + mini-KP = epic win.

thanks man, I'll look for it!

just release the damn thing.

not knowing what people are gonna think about it is part of the thrill.

Thanks a lot DKSTR and CMDR! I did know where the midi output was, I just couldn't figure the CC settings were in the envelope screen. I'm at work right now and as soon as I get home I'll try it out.

CMDR, thanks a ton for the time and patience for putting these screens. Really appreciate it.

Hi folks, my midiNES is finally working nice with a midi interface (no more lags), but I'm having trouble figuring out how to send midi control changes from Ableton to midiNES, for editing its sounds. I tried to use the instrument rack posted here, but unfortunally it won't work with my Ableton Intro version.

I tried using MIDI Patchbay, an external midi editor for mac, but it crashes all the time. Well, any way of solving it inside ableton itself? It would be the best, because all my music is there.

thanks! smile

Seu Jorge is brazilian (bad) music for exportation. Nobody here with half a brain takes him seriously.

"genius" is overrated.

and akira, the brazilian word for this "picardia porteña" is "jeitinho brasileiro".
