I once wrote a song about the goats that never stop bleating at me at the bus stop.

Team Fortress 2 (PC)
Nice simple blow-shit-up fun, pretty simple to learn, nice community behind it, free!

LIMBO (PC)
Creepy as fuck, interesting art style, one of those games with a constant cliffhanger of a story - what is that spider? Who are those people? What the fuck am I doing? Also, they manage to make black-and-white not look... boring!

Puzzlejuice (iOS)
Tetris meets Scrabble, cool music in the background, endless hours of fun on the train.

Fire Emblem 7 (GBA)
More or less a game from my late childhood, a fun turn-based strategy game. FE 8 is also pretty cool, yeah.

Salamander / Life Force (NES)
Cool side-scroll/top-scroll shooter, becomes BULLET HELL after a few levels, easy controls, enthralling shoot-lots-of-aliens action.

Feed the King (Flash/Web)
What better way to waste time than to stack cakes in a physics-defying manner, then catapult a short monarch with a possible weight problem into the sky, force-feeding him these cakes (which may have reached the stratosphere by the time you're done with them)?

i played a community fundraiser show at a church and this behemoth of a girl came up to me after and said something along the lines of "hey the gameboy music was really cool but you're a massive geek!"

Root or boot?

Untrue. I've used the NL One demo on my EMS cart and it works like a dream. Never tried saving, though.

Nothing exciting? This talk of all the nifty little possibilities warms my heart as it is

Looking good so far! I'll definitely be sending in a demo release once it's finished and ready to release.

I get similar results to Akira, I can see the site fine (I've never visited it before if that helps)

Simple, I'd like to buy an NL 2.5 cart. Postage to Australia and stuff.
Any takers? I can trade a broken DMG if you want... (or I can just buy it, that'll be easier for both of us)

Perhaps try using a cart that used a battery beforehand like this dude above me suggested. Not all carts and shells are the same!

its just the hipster ness that drives me insane

i never understood why people hate hipsters or hipster culture or tumblr or whatever. they're just lots of people with common interests (oh hey sounds a lit like a particular scene, mmh?)
