Right, interviewing 'top' artists would be beneficial, but interviewing *any* artist would be better than opening a survey up to any level of musicians or dabbler of music is absolutely useless. There's no quality control. Choosing particular artists would actually give him control.

Also, if you write ten songs, the likelihood of them all being good is very slim. But if you write one hundred songs, there should be something worthwhile in there. Even the most prevalent of musicians have hundreds of unreleased shit songs. Censor yourself. Only release what you think is good.

And for the love of god, have some respect for your music when you do release it as an EP/Album. MS Paint GameBoys and Times New Roman make god cry salty tears. As do shitty songs titles relating to Pokémon, Mario or your girlfriend. Or all of the above.

"She Is My Squirtle Princess" Ugh. Go have a wank.

Write an entire album, then listen through to it and work out what it's lacking. Listen to other artists, think about what makes their music more interesting.

Are your melodies too repetitive? Are you chord progressions boring? Could you play with the time signatures? Are the instruments you're using the best for the kind of music you're making? Are your basslines interesting on their own, or are they just root notes? Have you avoided discordant melodies? Is everything in a major key?

Incredibly loaded questions, made huge assumptions and left no room for explanations when needed. Very amateur. Perhaps you should look at 'how to create a survey' before you use any of this information to imply anything about musicians.

I don't understand why surveys are more useful than interviews in this situation, as you're not compiling data or figures about anything, especially not in large enough numbers to create any useful statistics. Why not just interview people?

Would this work for regular pictures as well? Last week someone broke into my car and stole all my equipment and I believe I found it on craigslist. Just cant read the serial all too well to match my box.

Have you done anything about it? Hurry up! Contact the guy saying you're interested. Then, ask for his address to come view it. After you have the address, ask him to meet in public instead, as it'd be probably be easier. Somewhere like Starbucks. Go with a friend. Carry either a voice recorder or videocamera. Look at the device and read the serial number. If it matches up (and make sure it matches up) have your friend make a call. Start recording. Ask him "Do you know this handheld console is stolen?" if he admits he knows it's stolen, but denies he stole it, he's still breaking the law. If he makes a run for it, follow him, but keep your distance. Hopefully, even if you lose him, you'll have his address.

Or simply phone the police.

If the USA stop being a dick about immigrants and work pet pigs then, aye, I'll move.

Eclectic mix of electric bliss.

There are plenty of .savs available out there to download and plagiarise.

It's after PayPal deductions, though, right?
Let's convert to US dollars to make things easier to begin with.

£2 is $3.09

$3.09 - (2.9% of $3.09) - $0.30 = $2.70
$2.70 - (30% of $2.70) = $1.89

And that's if conversion rates are decent, and conversion costs 2.5% for international orders. So, yeah, you couldn't buy much for it. I support the idea - they're offering exposure.

Toronto, eh? What for may I ask? That's not very far from here, a visit would be a must!

Most reasons you could think of. A visit is a must, my friend. You are welcome to crash any time you like. I am in Minneapolis at the moment, you're missed, buddy.

I can vouch for Edward Shallow. I've known him personally for a few years now.
He's a friendly, interesting individual, and would make a good roommate.

I concur!

I am moving to Toronto in August for a year and I need an apartment to live in. I'm 25 year old chip musician and visual artist from Scotland.

I write, compose music, play ukulele and video-games, make films and eat fruit. I'm an art school graduate and secular humanist, and volunteer as such. I'm vegan for the most part, don't drink and prefer a non-cigarette smoke environment (I'm alright with 420, but not tobacco).

I'm a liberal sort, believe in equality for all, and do what I can to make the world a better yaddy yadda.

I like the comedy stylings of Louis CK, BIll Hicks and George Carlin. I'm an avid fan of film and particularly enjoy Léon, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Enter The Void, Fight Club and The Usual Suspects. I enjoy many a TV show including It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Dexter, Breaking Bad and Arrested Development.

I'm looking for someone who has somewhat overlapping interests and is of a similar age, otherwise I'm pretty open.

I only need a small room (with a bed, if possible), would prefer if it has its own bathroom or en suite, but isn't essential. Would prefer no pets due to allergies and the shit they leave behind. Looking for somewhere close to the Toronto Coach Terminal, but it isn't a deal breaker.

If you think you potentially have the room I'm looking for, send me a message over telling me about yourself and the room (with pictures, if possible) and ask any questions you have.

$550 for rent. Moving date would be August 3rd.

The Legend of Red Plastic Park is a limited run of cassettes I released two years ago. It features five NES tracks and there are only two cassettes left.

Thank you for your time.

Do you need money to fund this project? If so, I'd be willing to fund it entirely. Probably up to $500, I'm really interested to see this progress.

But first, you must get a Skrillex tattoo on your peen.
