What I do is look at the led closely at the two points inside the glass one will look like a little triangle flag just take note of which side that is and put the replacement in the same way. Also I change the led in all my gameboys with green or amber and sometimes purple and I've never had to change the diode ever or resister. I believe it can stand any led. I haven't tried a black light yet but I'm betting it'll work fine also. But yea easy to do just slap the bitch in there an you're done. I would suggest though to use a desolderer to pull the solder off the points cleanly. Its kind of a bitch to heat the solder up on the points back and forth. You can burn the board and if you're not careful when you pull led out a piece of the board may come with it and then you'll be screwed.

Re: How is your local chiptune community? (430 replies, posted in General Discussion)
I only know of one other chiptune persons other than myself in this lonely state (Vex).
There's atleast three of us man don't feel so lonely. And I meet a few people every few weeks that know of the music and play with milky tracker but have no idea that there is a huge community of us. I always get the whole "omg there's a community for this stuff!? I thought I just found some unknown software no one knew about and thought it sounded cool" I point them her me but I haven't heard of any actually showin up yet. There's also a chip tuner up in the Texarkana area which is only about an hour drive from here so I count him also. I did come across a guy that brought making chiptunes with milky tracker but he started talking about wanting a "chip controller". I was intrigued and showed him some of my gameboys I've painted and modded and he was got excited and started freakig out saying "omg you can make them!? Chip controllers you have a lot of them!" I looked at him in confusion and asked if he meant the gameboys..and he said yes strangely enough. I personally have never heard of a gameboy being referred to as a "chip controller" but eh. He also was familiar with LSDJ and said that was why hes been wanting a "chip controller" so he could run it "properly" and not with an emulator on a pc. I gave him fb info cause he asked for it so he could add me and talk to me further and stuff but no word yet. But if he does ad he really gets into it we may have 5 in this state or generally close to us anyway lol.

Re: Any advice on painting the inside of a clear DMG? (9 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
I thought maybe I could do a design in white paint, and then coat the rest with the white/red glow paint. Hopefully, you would only see the design when the other coat glows.
I second this idea. That would be very badass.

Lol I personally want one. It's ugly yes but I could definitely make use of it for sure. Especially if it really does have pockets in the back for some carts.

There's definitely enough people vouching for him here but one more never hurts right? Matt aka Kitsch is the best in the biz and keeps up with everything he's amazing. As for being impatient and feeling bad don't worry about it hes a cool guy and sending an extra email or two never hurts anything. Being a concerned customer dealing with Internet orders is a smart move. But for the future you have absolutely nothing to worry about when dealing with Kitsch at all.

Haha alright Jotie thanks. And @nordloef no not like the domo boy that it a fabric called felt. Flock is exactly fabric. Another example is the black fuzzy stuff that is usually on the borders of black light posters.

Topic: To flock or not to flock...? (3 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
Alright guys the genius man known world wide as Kitsch has suggested I flock a Gameboy. I accepted the challenge and am currently working on doing just that. However I recently made a LSDJ keyboard and I want to make a few more. To get to the point I'm thinking about flocking a keyboard to go with the gameboy and possibly selling them as a set. Would anyone be interested in this idea?
Note: Flock is the stuff you typically find in jewelry boxes that soft velvety stuff that usually hold the ring. Or cheap ass necklaces I'm sure some of you have bought a girlfriend or two over the years from Claire's or some place similar. For those of you that are not to lazy to look it up you can find more information, on this amazing stuff, you can find it on this wonderfully designed search engine known as google. Just copy this word "Flocking" and paste into the google search bar and hit search. Ignore the stuff about birds, they may be pretty but we aren't talking about birds on this particular thread. Okay you may see stuff talking about scrap booking or something of that nature or "flocking material" or something it'll be on one of those pages. Have a look and tell me if you think it'd be a cool idea or not.
Is now going to bed because I have a suspicious feeling I just rambled about something that doesn't even matter. Y_Y

Gotcha... I feel really stupid lol. The splatters actually happened as an accident while I was shaking a paint pen lol. So I went ahead and splattered it rather than repaintong an area lol.
