This is slowly but surely turning into one of the worst threads ever built.

Hear hear. I also wanted to mention that whatever's going on onstage makes up about 20% (at most) of what makes Blip awesome. Polarize and divide yourselves all you want, I just want to hang out with my friends and eat pizza.

My dad can beat up your dad.

What scene?

Oh man, and to think I had a full album produced and DJ'd for you already.

It feels kind of tacky to post this, but as of today, Hexadecimator (my CDK release) has had 1,667 downloads. I have 862 total plays on Bandcamp. I've played four shows and an open mic in the last year and a half. In the last 10 years I've spent making music, I've made a grand total of $50 off of it all.

When I'm really into it and the ideas are flowing pretty smoothly, I usually get 30 seconds of music out of an hour of solid work. I don't really ever consider any of my songs finished though, I just work on them until they feel organized/ready enough to be put in the maybe pile. That's if I'm lucky. I'm usually working on a lot of songs at once and frequently switch back and forth between them while tracking, so more often than not it takes months to get something ready.

My blip wishlist in no real order:
IAYD
...
Covox
...
Saskrotch
Trash80
...

Unless you live in New York, you can't play Blip twice. This means I'll probably have to get a time machine if I ever want to see Stu in America...

The year started out really nicely with Sievert's Beyond the Frontier, and Jellica's "Wintre" was pretty ace as well. Oven Rake put out like 38942 albums and they were all solid gold, as well as everything that came out on 8bp. I'll also second Greenberry Hill as being an extremely influential and groundbreaking work of art (it really is, seriously), Dances, and 12345.

The coolest part is, 2011 is going to be so much better.

I'm proud of you, son. We're going out for ice cream sandwiches after I get home from work.

This is almost "I QUIT" good.
