ive had terrible trouble mixing guitars and game boys in the past and the guitars are very quiet on here. id probably experiment with removing some treble from the game boy and making the guitar louder.

i dont really know how to criticize your stuff, but you should certainly make a compilation of your atari works, things like chap are killer.

and i love how this is a similar video down the right hand side

general song structure is a difficult thing to criticize, but i think in general your songs feel empty.

i think that you could work on your overall sound design as it all sounds very basic and the percussion needs a bit more variation.

you could do a lot more with the equipment you have. everything feels underused. if you have a separate drummachinesampler/sequencer thing, it frees up a lot of room on the game boy.

you could just apply the same knowledge that you would get from a fruityloops dubstep tutorial.

i think it can be useful, but only if you ask people who understand your music,or style of music. music is far too varied.

i have a pretty stong vision of what i want to achive and a lot of my recent music is pretty minimal, undancy and unmelodic (and improvised and weird and messy all over the place) and this is what i want it to sound like, so i wouldn't bother asking for (serious) cc as alot of people here are clearly in to very different music.

i guess it has a lot to do with how confident and comfortable you feel as an artist. if you are an insecure person, then the chances are it will be for attention and validation. maybe if anyone has studied or read about the psycology of artists?

i spent many years at school and college in art and music with teachers telling me/critising how i should make art/music and what i can and cannot do and i guess that everything ive made has probably partly been a reaction to this. has this helped me become satisfied with myself about an artist? probably, because it has shown me what i dont want to be. maybe this also comes with age too.

my friend does shit DJ jobs like this. he hates the music. hates the people. gets paid lots of money. hes gay and these gigs are breeder gigs and he has to watch the gross overweight breeders grinding on each other to i bet you wish your girfriend was hot like me or what ever it is called.

he just has a standard winamp play list that he just loads and hits play on and plays the same crap records everytime.

I guess that I am probably too old to know much about bass micro genres. Is this dubstep? Isn’t trap a particually alluring tranny? Why is electro now the same as dubstep but with more kick drums? Eugh. Anyway I liked the sound design and the cheeky riffs on this. It’s chunky and crunchy.
