phones without touch screens are even worse for making music. the composer on the old nokias was fuckin great though, it'd be hilarious if someone wrote a beeper for the 3315.
using a smartphone/tablet as a control surface is pretty cool, except holding your control surface all the time would be a drag i think

+ current australian political climate and political journalism. it's all kinda puerile, really.
+ when people spell resumé with accents over the both the first and second e. i don't even care if that's the right way to spell it, it looks stupid and it's not a god damn "raysumay" okay aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

learn about chords and harmony and stuff, cause this is just random sounding melodies slapped on top of each other with no thought to the underlying chord progression (which at the moment is completely undiscernable)

i wasn't able to make it as far as the breakdown but judging by the sounds used in the first 40 seconds it probably would've been super weak and i wouldn't have thrown down to it at all. how much pop punk do you actually listen to? maybe make some covers first just to get a solud understanding of the musical tropes and techniques that pop punk bands use (you dont need to put the covers on the internet though)

I know theres a tutorial for windows 7 but I couldn't seem to get it to work and it was very complicating for me. All I need to know is if there is an easy way to do it.

if the tutorial you're referring to is about putting windows into test mode to turn off digital signatures for drivers, then yeah that's the only way. it doesn't matter whether or not your version of windows 7 is 32-bit or 64-bit (source: i'm using EMS carts and GB_USB.exe with a x64 version of windows 7)

Ok, what does the mod do?

it's the mod to sync 4 iterations of LSDJ together with the official nintendo 4-way link adapter
and apparently you can daisy chain these for even more polyphony if you're a crazy mofo.

Since we're listing examples here, for my flute and gameboy piece Flight of the Bleeper Bird, I had the flutist record every note on the instrument, and I made a kit for each octave. They appear pretty prominently about 2:27 into the second movement:

any chance you can share these kits, or are they bound by contract as is with the piece?

that's just beeswax, dude. crack open the cart to claim your sweet, sweet honey (be careful of the bees)
