I know it's not exactly the same thing, but I've got a rough attempt at mixing the WAV Chann and real slap bass, just for the funz.

EDIT: Just heard the cover and I loved it!

If I had to listen to only one chiptune song for the rest of my life, I'd probably end up killing myself.
Dat VRC6.
I think you can directly email the admins of this very site and they'll solve your problem, even the guy from 8bc.
Any constant sound over 120 dB will decrease your audition range and cause permanent damage to your ears.
For every 45 minutes at a 95 dB system you should take a 15 minutes break. Yeah, like when you play videogames.
Consider yourself blessed if you can still hear 16 kHz.
U guys give your music away for free under CC License and when you find it on a non-profit media scare the fuck off? WHY? TELL ME WHY, MIGHTY SHARERS OF THE GIVE-AWAY-FOR-FREE LAND!? WHYYYYYYYYYYY!?
Sincerely,
a guy who was satanized once for claiming copyright over his own songs.
buy a mac.
All the "bad mixing" thing is clearly done in purpose.
Rad release, I've been waiting a long time to hear it, though I like the Eat Your Vegetables EP better.
Song structures and arrangements could go a little over the top and kick drums seem like taking a whole channel.
It's a therapy process.
You meditate for half an hour everyday so you can remember your dreams.
When you wake up, you write it down on a diary. Then you later try understand the dream, which is a subcouncious message trying to tell you what's wrong with you. The dude just made a game out of that.
That being said, acid is way less expensive than therapy sessions.
Also, sidechains.
I like to record the kick drums (wav + at least 1 pulse) aside so I can give them enough compression and Sidechain all the basslines to it.
Yeah, each channel isolated, clean the most out of the white noise and mix everything again. Mastering is for Masters, so I don't feel confident enough to do that.
Acid is not so expensive.
Oh God, yes.
It was part of the learning proccess, so it is OK.
I still need to work a lot on my songwritting, but I'm happy with programming skills and wave manipulation.
Vikernes just wants to preserve his pagan roots in a non-religious way, the Satan figures on his music are just nordic mythos disguised.
But hey, seriously, tremolo-arps (use the tables for this) and blast beats.
