Any constant sound over 120 dB will decrease your audition range and cause permanent damage to your ears.
For every 45 minutes at a 95 dB system you should take a 15 minutes break. Yeah, like when you play videogames.
Consider yourself blessed if you can still hear 16 kHz.

All the "bad mixing" thing is clearly done in purpose.
Rad release, I've been waiting a long time to hear it, though I like the Eat Your Vegetables EP better.
Song structures and arrangements could go a little over the top and kick drums seem like taking a whole channel.

It's a therapy process.
You meditate for half an hour everyday so you can remember your dreams.
When you wake up, you write it down on a diary. Then you later try understand the dream, which is a subcouncious message trying to tell you what's wrong with you. The dude just made a game out of that.
That being said, acid is way less expensive than therapy sessions.

Also, sidechains.
I like to record the kick drums (wav + at least 1 pulse) aside so I can give them enough compression and Sidechain all the basslines to it.

Yeah, each channel isolated, clean the most out of the white noise and mix everything again. Mastering is for Masters, so I don't feel confident enough to do that.
