The irony...

Try this:

It's quite more "dull" because LSDj's synth doesn't produce sharp edges, (you'll see what I mean) but works as good starting point to make a "real" PWM, if you just sharpen up then edges. In that patch I've chosen HP and set the filter on both start and end to 00, but you can just as well use LP and FF on both filters.

It's an intrinsic property of HTML form elements. It's not that somebody would tab their way to these fields to press enter, there's just no reason to block a function that's already there. I'm sure you'll find most forums work the same way. Deal with it.

MIDI was designed for multi-channel communication. As you may or may not know, there are 16 MIDI channels you can use, that can be transmitted over a shared line. The mGB mode in Arduinoboy just translates MIDI data into the serial port format the Gameboy is using. It doesn't alter the data. (Well ok, it does do some editing, like erasing some duplicate messages, but that's not relevant here.) It does forward data for all channels. So in theory it's possible to just connect several Gameboys to a single Arduinoboy output with eg a spliced cable. I also modded mGB so it could receive MIDI on other channels, 1-5, 6-10, or 11-15. That worked relatively ok, but as it turns out, mGB doesn't handle data sent on other channels than its own channel. So if you send data on channel 2, when mGB is receiving on 6-10, it might freak out and crash. If someone (me?) can fix that bug, this method will work.

Enter is the standard key for submitting forms when a one-line input is focused. It has been that way forever on the internetz. However this board also allows you to press ctrl+enter when the text area is focused in the send PM view, since enter just starts a new line.

Yep, hc14 should be alright.

Edit: Unless hc14's are so slow that they can't keep up with video signal. That, I haven't investigated.

I helped NeX set up this thing, transfer the posts from 8bc and here to it and organize them with tags and categories. So it's only natural that I announce it here:

Are you for example wondering what SuperGameboy-related mods NeX has done? Look no further than the SGB category!

Partially a response to justinthursday's comment on 8bc...

Do not just connect all cables with similar colors. What is SIN on one side is SOUT on the other. (Things com in on one side and out on the other.) Those are red or orange, and you don't know which is which for which side.

For the most basic splicing, try just connecting all Gnds (blue in official Nintendo cables) and clocks (green in official Nintendo cables). For that basic connection it makes no sense to connect anything else,

That should work fine for simple sync with one master and a few slaves. If you want support for the feature that LSDj starts playing on the same step as the master on all slaves, you need to work out the connections so that SOUT on the master goes to SIN on all the slaves. A multimeter is recommended for probing the red(orange wires for sin/sout.

It sounds exactly like the real thing.
INCREDIBLE.

Looks like quatre-mat wasn't the only person to come up with that idea. Here's another one, in 4k no less.

I used to play around with it. Then the microSD in my DS fflash cartridge died. I bought a new microSD card which I happened to break in two pieces by mistake. My third microSD card still works, but since then the hinge on my DS has come loose.

This thread will not pass without me mentioning these:
