I'm been putting aside a little bit of each of my paychecks for these. Depending on final+shipping cost, I'm planning on buying at least 3 and throwing my 2 EMS carts under a fucking lawn mower. Also, being able to get rid of my POS Pentium 4 PC that I only keep around for syncing with my EMS carts will be worth whatever that cost is.

I was thinking about starting some of my own tutorials about some intermediate techniques that I have discovered thanks to some help from Danimal Cannon. I was gonna talk about advance table techniques, taking advantage of stereo channels, and mixing the levels of a song to give you a better overall sound quality. Sadly, I just started a new job and it's been sucking up most of my free time :\

edit: oh and some basic wav channel stuff.

yes, the microkorg is the same internally as the korg ms2000.  it's much smaller and you change one parameter set at a time using the large knob.  the keyboard is toy-small.  it's really cool but is time consuming to program relative to the ms2000.

I'm not too keen about buying used electronics off ebay. If I was gonna spend that much for the ms2000 I'd might as well just get a MIDI controller and just use the Ableton Synth tools and that Moog Synth VST.

I've been eyeing the MicroKorg. It's a pretty decent price and has really good reviews. Anyone have any experience with it?

Trumpet from 5-8th grade, then listend to shitty anime music through out high school. Started listening to better music in college and pick up LSDJ last April while I was recovering from a hang over.

My only regret is not starting to make electronic music sooner.

Tempted, but with international shipping the total cost will end up being around $150 USD neutral

You guys plan on setting up shows anytime soon?

Oh, I picked up a DMG once that had this problem. The solution I found was to swap the front cover with another one. Some how the plastic was warped in such a way that it affected the button press.

Shake your money maker, pump your fist.

I really enjoyed it! Since you're here, I might well ask you directly how did you get that sound in the opening of A Song For The Girl? Referring to this thread

I saw Nullsleep last november and he had a Mackie 802-VLZ3. I got mine about 2 months ago and love it. I get 3 stereo channels and 2 monos. Has effects send and return and I can mix the aux by each channel. Super compact, about the size of large science text book and weighs a couple pounds. Not to mention this thing is really rugged so It will probably last me for years. Might be a little more than what you are looking for though.

I also once put together a gameboy specifically to be smashed at the end of a show

This needs to become a regular thing.

Did a search for some chip artist: Starscream, Dj Cutman, Bit shifter, Nullsleep, Glomag, Anamanaguchi, The whole Blip 2008 Live Album, Cheap Dinosaurs, Minusbaby, etc.

Glad I'm irrelevant enough to not make the list tongue

But seriously, thanks for the notice.
