I should be in Austin at this time depending on exact date
Would you be up for playing a set? Let me know either way. Since the show's only a month away, sooner would be better than later!
man, I was hoping to attend SXSW but things just didn't work out... I will make sure to get in touch with you guys if I have plans to be in Austin another day!
Ah, bummer. Seems like it didn't work out for a lot of people this year. Definitely hit me up if you'll be passing through Austin eventually. Like I said, other events are in the planning stages too, so hopefully we can start getting more folks to tour through ATX.

Hi all,
I'm part of a collective called TX Chip, and we're in the midst of putting together a show for SXSW. The place and time have been reserved, and now I'm working on putting together the lineup. The show will feature mostly Texas artists, but we're keeping a couple slots open for touring artists from out of state that may still be looking for a show to play. We wanna help you out if we can.
Also as a sort of promotion tool/showcasing of Texas artists, we're also putting together a TX Chip compilation, which we are working on cranking out before the SXSW show. I'd like to invite any Texas-based artists to send us a song if you're interested.
Feel free to send me a PM if either of these things sound like something you'd like to do, and we can talk more over email.
Thx!

idk, you definitely need at least one more social media outlet with "official" in the name in order for me to believe the legitimacy of this.

Re: [US] NEW YORK NY • 2012 05 25-27 • BLIP FESTIVAL NYC 2012 (360 replies, posted in Past Events)
CONS
- the sound and table position on Friday night.
- $12 beers
- security being pretty strict
- 4foot barrier between the crowd (probably amazing for photographers though).
Seriously, my sole gripe is with the venue mainly for the above mentioned things. The exact minute I was over this place was when I asked for a water from the bartender, and he gave me one of those tiny paper cups that dentists give you to rinse out your mouth full of water. I ended up buying a $4 bottle of water (not even Perrier, damn) because the security pat-downs at the front door prevented me from sneaking any sort of liquid into this fine establishment.
Also a venue with stairs was probably a bad idea. Drunk nerds falling down them steps constantly.
That being said, I'm sure there were valid Reasons for choosing that location (but really, Eyebeam all the way).
Thanks to all the artists, though, for getting me to dance like there's an ass in my pants. Real Good Time.

I caught a stomach bug, which reared its ugly head a couple hours before my flight yesterday. It was an interesting plane ride, but I made it.
Probably going to check out the Nintendo World Store and go down to St. Mark's today.
