I'm going to wager a method of using homebrew to flash a ROM via link cable. In the event that one cannot backup/write readily with a PC, this is extremely convenient even if flashing would take a while. (Seeing as the GBC has a faster CPU, it would be extremely beneficial to utilize said processor). Still just a guess.

Buy a domain for 8bcraft.org and run a server there tongue

This is what I did for mine (shameless self-promotion), and I buy inkjet transfer sheets so I can make them on blank shirts from home. Relatively cheap to make, and good to give out at shows. If you want my Gameboy template, PM me, or better yet, please take my idea and run with it to a talented artist.

I attend a college of 33,000, and when I wear this shirt around campus I get about 50 more listens that day on bandcamp than I do normally. I check my stats, and all of those hits come from direct link (ie. typing url directly into address bar). People can remember you and where to find your music if you make your shirt recognizable (and if you cram your web page on there).

any thoughts on the megadrive 3. looks odd i'd never seen that before. seems to be the easiest to find online in china. lots of md2's but alas no md1's with that high def sticker though. also one other thing.....will the cart for the midi interface get on alright with a japanese megadrive ?

The MD3 should be avoided at all costs. Tiny, awful sound. Awful. I own one. Trust me, it's awful. Cart on JP MD is fine. No difference in cart design.

Bump: I can't find the software anywhere online. Could someone please reupload their copy? Lost some programs for cart flashing in a mass crap-ware deletion party. <_<

My roommate owns one of each (he's into the MD dev scene), he says the MD is the one to go for, for sake of ease of use, flashing, and general compatibility with ROMS. Not to mention it will do 32X stuff.

EDIT: relevant thread on ASSEMBLERgames to skim through http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/sh … EverdDrive

I sit at my keyboard and do (often terrible) jazz covers of everything. For example, a bebop cover of "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" turned into my album project.

But I promise it doesn't sound like Skrillex.

Pro sounding the nomad isn't impossible, and the second controller jack is beneath the screen. It's fine for this sort of thing, but if you don't have a power adapter be prepared to buy lots and lots of batteries.

I have some groovy friends in the Sonic hacking scene who are working on finishing up a library for better Sega CD development. One of them happens to be my roommate at Uni. And yes, PWM is a nightmare but totally possible. Currently we are designing a new and more-complex SMPS driver that will function under Cart Boot mode for the Sega CD. It's heavy stuff.

Questions - will we ever see PCM, DAC or PWM support? What about usage with the 32X in the future and its 4 extra PCM channels? Does the cart play nice with the MegaCD (with 8 PCM channels) Cart Boot mode? Some of those extra channels would add tons of new textures and obviously expand on the MD sound.

Interested in reserving, but I am curious about how long it will be until the next batch comes out.

Just about everything ever written by Flashy is amazing. His flash portal is full of songs as well as some songs never put into soundtracks (including a track that was supposed to be in TOH and got taken off the flash portal. @an0va PM me if you want the MP3).

Ten Day EP was written over Spring Break, where the highlight of my week was getting soda at the Dollar General. True story bro. But seriously, it's free to listen to and download, or you can pay for it if you reaaaallllyyyy want to. Feedback, criticism, etc. is welcome.
