i haven't watched TV since 2006, i almost never watch movies, i hate books, i read the news and hate every single bit of it, and i want my childhood back. what do i win

well unfortunately for a lot of us, we can't play shows/don't know too many people who are into chiptune/can't really find any patches to share/use their computer in chip production, therefore not needing a physical booklet, etc. imo, a digital system for LSDJ patch sharing would be a considerably better move.

edit: oh! also i'm planning on setting the system up to have all patches downloadable in one huge damned file juuust in case your internet or the site goes down, so portability and independence for the web won't be much of an issue if you've got a phone or other digital device capable of reading a .txt or .csv file.

aaagh i want one

hate to kill your existentialism buzz, but fucking necrobump much?

OH GOD YES

did you really spend $100 on getting a gameboy modded ahah

well, by 'modding' i meant readying the gameboy for actual use in general, and that constitutes buying two gameboys (one non-working for parts and a working one missing some parts) and fixing them up since i couldn't find a fully working one, a backlight, prosound mod & a cheap drill to cut the hole for the mod, and an EMS cart.

so in essence it actually took about $125 total to get everything in working order, thanks

Ouch. If only they knew how expensive some setups can be.

yeah i would've brought up my $500 setup i use just to record and master and the $100 that went to getting just this gameboy modded and ready but i figured ignorance is bliss to the idiot that said that

"how poor do you have to be to need to make music with a gameboy?"
if i wasn't used to comments like that already i would've beaned him with my cart

i manage to sidestep the topic when my parents bring it up, but my brothers are pretty cool with it and my close friends are like 'dayuuuuumn, you made that with that two-pound fucking hamburger? do your hands hurt yet?'

been playing some cortex command lately, it's pretty damn fun
