i think if you re-download the pack he's labeled each thing by sound now... like snare, bass drum etc.
I bet you were thinking the DMC to WAV pack... which reminds me, I should nab that for piggy NOW.

Yes, I read the text file. It doesn't really help me cuz I need to HEAR the snares, etc.
Thanks for the tip on famitracker, I haven't used it in ages so I'll nab that new version!

Topic: DMC Preview (8 replies, posted in Nintendo Consoles)
OK, here's what I want to do: I have the Bucky DMC sample pack. I want to browse through it to find a sweet snare to bring into Chipsounds. However, my video game soundtrack knowledge doesn't extend to "oh snap, Abadox had that sweet snare that would cut thru the mix!" And Chipsounds as it is now doesn't make the guess-and-check method that easy, especially since the 200 +samples in the Bucky library are labeled by game, not instrument/voice.
So, I'm looking for a program that will allow me to preview DMC samples easily. Any ideas?

Jealousy set to 11
It would only be worse if you had a PK Ripper - friend of mine had one in the 80s when I had a Mongoose, it was a bit like this;
I lusted it after it every single day.
Mongoose was way lusty back then! In my town, if you had a Mongoose, you were the SHIT. I was a poor kid and only had a shitty Huffy back then. I loved it, though. Anyhow, I was watching Rad for the first time in like 20 years the other day and noticed that villain dude was the president of Mongoose. What a fucked up product placement? Anyhow, you can get Mongooses at fucking Wal Mart now so there goes all that street cred.

Work has been incredibly busy so things were delayed a bit. All the code is ready but I need a nice way to package it up for those who aren't looking to modify the Arduino codebase.
In the meantime for those who want to wire it - I threw together this diagram. I should commission ANIMAL-STYLE to do the full MIDI one - that CV sequencer schematic is an absolute work of art.
Holy shit, that's easy!
As far as MIDI... wouldn't this shit work?
