Damn you, Jazz! tongue

What do you want per 5.25 disk?  I think the MicroDrive card is out of my price range, but I might be able to make an insulting offer if you want.  Which 4meg RAM card is this (I am looking for things that are compatible with a 2e)?  Is the mouse one of the rectangular ones? Am I correct in assuming it is the platinum one without contrasting color on the button?

Jazzmarazz, are you still planning on doing the SD drive, and if so what do you think the prices will be?

Also, arfink, what are you looking for as potential trade items?

Also be careful with your designs, if they're important to you. I've had a pretty bad experience sending art to sticker suppliers. Some have even tried to sell stickers of my logo. Almost all of them will give the excess stickers away as free samples too if you don't explicitly tell them not to. Not a big deal for some people, but it is problematic in my case when I use those stickers for limited edition releases and whatnot.

Plus that is kinda fucked up, without giving you a heads up.  Thanks for the warning.

Yeah, I wish I could justify buying the pocket.  It is my favorite color Nintendo put out.

Supervision and another were mentioned, but not game boy.  Based on the theme of the site I guess it makes sense to assume they would have considered cartridges for something popular if it looked like it might work.

Thanks, DaRkO and Bamboori.  I suppose I will go with a GB Boy Colour if I don't find a more visually interesting clone.

I can find very little information about them.  This is pretty much it, and only mentions the E-90 and the ET-6.  I have my eye on one that says ET-6 on the back, and No. 1 (i think) on the front.  It looks like a Supervision mated with a DMG, and this was the offspring.  Does anyone know if it is compatible with Game Boy carts, or have any additional info.  I really like the look of it, but I am currently in the market for a game boy clone that is a little different looking (kinda like this).

What big eyes you have.

Anyone with a gb boy colour, does it color original game boy games like a real game boy color, especially custom palettes, specifically Metroid 2?

It really needs to be the old logo for me.

pics or it didn't happen.
Expected price (kitsch and arfink)?

I think someone on ebay has one for around the same price (with tetris i think) if someone doesn't want to wait for shipping from china.  I was considering getting it, but decided that if i am going to get a clone it needs to be an improvement over a stock nintendo unit (as with the gb boy colour), or very interesting in some remarkable way.

Ive never gotten into them, and I was the assumed target age when they first came out. Whats the appeal?

The game play is a really well balanced turn based RPG, and you can build a team of 6 that cover the weaknesses of your other team members in a weird 17 x 17 choice quasi rock paper scissors type deal.

If any of that sounds appealing at all, sit down with Pokemon Emerald for like an hour, and see if you like it.

Am I misunderstanding this or has a lot changed since I last played?

I got bored with it early in the series (first or second gen was when i quit actively playing and just started helping out others), but i may give it a shot.

Anyone else use a game genie back in the early years to collect pokemon not usually available in game?

I like em both.

I'm in.

I think you will find that you like a name better if you decide on it yourself.  Are you looking for a username or a name for your business?  The feel you seem to be going for with the word list can work for both, but the list seems like an ideal starting point for a business name (although then you have to decide on if you are cool keeping things fun and informal, or if it is super serious "all business, all the time").  I can toss some stuff at you for inspiration later.

I would really like a full computer, so I think starting with the dev board for now, and keeping costs down in the short term, may be the best option.  It creates a wider audience in the long run, as people customize their projects.  It would be great if you made both.  It might be difficult to get funding for both projects, although I love that idea (except i so love the old stuff I may use up all my dollars on those).  If you haven't already done so, consider mentioning this on other forums, if you think it might be appropriate.  I will mention it to a few people also.

ps: "Obsolescence" is the direction to go, imo.

So fucking excited to see who's on this.

I wish I had time to be a part of this. I hope it becomes a regular thing.  Did you submit anything?
