That series is some of the least scary examples of the horror genre, even when I watched it back then...but then again I grew up watching and reading lots of horror.

If you want to use tape, use a good quality masking tape, like blue painter's tape or Frogtape.

I am far from a professional but masking and painter's tape gives me  decent results.  I can't really speak on stencils much as I have always made them using file folders and just held or taped them then sprayed, but that was for putting words/letters/numbers/names on stuff.

SNICK up in here!

Sound aside, I doubt he would have been able to see anything if he really was playing.

edited for all caps.

look up "biversion".  This is a combination of both ways to invert the screen

OP is looking for them for the game boy COLOR.  Thread title might be a bit misleading.

This one doesn't have the logo, but still has the border/frame coloring:

also side by side with an unlit one?

Does any light bleed out around the edges of the screen?

your best bet is probably to replace the entire front board.  if they aren't available locally you may have to buy one from somewhere where they are more readily available.

I am just a bit confused here.  I may have missed this, but is this price just for shipping (minus prices per cart mentioned on the first page) or is it total price shipped?

Gold spray painted game boys are rare.

arfink's advice is good.  Alternately you could buy a can of a different gold and do the stencil (or use tape).  Failing that you could just paint a grey triforce or have arfink engrave a triforce for you.

again

I tried to stick with all original and period hardware for my apples.  If you decide you really like using a c64 you should consider a replacement for magnetic/mechanical data storage.  It is fun to mess around with the older stuff, but eventually the combination of cost, inconvenience and lack of reliability might outweigh the nostalgia or novelty if you plan to use it much.

It is interesting that you use DD disks at work (and if not, where did you acquire it?).  Do you mind sharing what you use floppy disks for?  A couple years ago I worked with equipment that used high density floppies for recovery and such, but not regular use.  I don't recall any of our computers having floppy drives...just a handful of disks waiting for things to go very wrong.

I wonder how many sales he got doing this.

I don't think I have ever used it to get rid of marker on plastic, but I think I might give it a shot.  Serious question about all the rubbing: will simple green break down the ink easily or do I need to just keep scrubbing?  I don't want to mess up the texture on the items I am considering using it on.

Are you still considering fixing up the other one?

For that price I would think the buyer would at least get a matching battery cover.

How much actual gold was used in making this?
