I don't think I would even know what to do with 2XLSDJ, my songs would muddy up ridiculously quick!

Often my problem. I use 2lsdjs a lot. But I like doing stereo echoes and more panning stuff. Oh and chords. Actual chords are so nice sometimes. But nothing beats the joy of successfully stuffing two melodies in one channel, so I still use one cart too.
Traveling with two gameboys gets a little ridiculous though. Even if they are gba sps.

I lul'd.

The other name I went by, rather briefly, was Chromatiq. Apparently that's not unique enough though.

There is, but it's forbidden magic. Only awesome people can do it.

There are a lot of names on here I would never want to look up on Google. *Coughgodinpantscough* (actually I want to look that up now)
Edit: shockingly no god heads on penises. . .

I'm a little too fortunate, if you Google "auxcide" you can find my entire internet life.

Also: oxide.

Haha yeah, I meant 'looper' but auto-correct didn't like that. Thanks, that makes it pretty clear, then. I'll just go back to using the mini kp post-mixer, pre-speakers.

1. How long have you been making chip tunes? Chiptune: 8 months.
2. What inspired you to begin creating your own music? Boredom, lulz. Found out i was kind of a natural at it. I'm refering to music in general. I've been writing music since like middle school (so about 9~ years). Chiptune specifically caught my attention because I realized that I've been secretlhy wanting to emulate that sort of sound in my other music. So I decided why not do it on the actual hardware.
3. What do you personally use to produce chiptunes (Hardware and Software)? LSDJs on a couple of gameboys.
4. What genre of music (besides chip) inspires you the most? Any kind of Electronica. But on the other side of that, I write a lot of things for the piano and then see how a Chiptune version would sound. So a little modern orchestral stuff.
5. What do you know about music theory? Have you ever taken a formal music class? I guess a little. A lot of it i self taught and then fine-tuned in classes. (Composition major)
6. What do you reccomend for someone who would like to begin making chiptunes (tutorials, software, hardware, online resources)? I'd recommended starting out with a tracker but on an emulator I'm case you don't like it.
7. Do you perform at any live shows? Not yet. Gonna change that soon. smile

I've tried using a mini kp though a Behringer Eurorack ub802's fx send/stereo aux return and for some reason it's like the effects are only at a mix of 50%. I know that would suggest a stereo or connector problem but I've made sure they were the right stereo/mono cables and connections.

I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem like this. Whether with this equipment or not.

The problem becomes most audible when using the kp's Popper functions and the audio still plays both fx'd and clean.

I'm so torn on these. I own both the mini kp and the kaossilator already. I don't necessarily have to upgrade but the mini kp 2 looks really handy. If only it didn't look like a hasty birthday present for an 8 year old. . .

I haven't gotten too far into it but it can. To a very limited degree. I've gotten it to play basslines but the process took too long to me. I bet with more practice it could be easier, though.
