Did you happen to miss the nes in the middle of them?

I dont know why yours didnt come with the preloaded games but I bought mine on Amazon about a month ago and it came with them. Most of the games are poopy but it has a few good ones like Contra.

Every time i listen to your stuff i feel inspired to sit down and make a song, love everything you make man

Also, it's probably a little nit-picky of me, but i have to press the down button rather hard in order for it to register. I dunno its whatever

i think it should cover everything, but ask more questions if you've got them!  there is a bit of community exploration of these consoles going on atm, so any questions/answers are great

Could be that LSDJ is falsely detecting it as a Gameboy Color and is running crazy fast. Not sure if it WOULD sound like that, but this is rather curious. My GB Boy Colour sounds *almost* normal.

No, they just screwed up. They did fix it on the colour though, I love mine

My GB Boy (not colour) came in today and when i put in lsdj I noticed that its fast as hell. It doesn't sound normal. Do I have to change out the crystal? I tried other cartridges/games and it still sounds like its on drugs. Also can you backlight one of these? I assume it'd be like backlighting a pocket, but I've never modded a pocket so i wouldn't know. I haven't looked inside yet, but has anyone noticed the same things or done any modding yet?

I used the script found here: http://www.discoverdigitalphotography.c … hy-how-to/. It works on Linux and Windows (probably Mac as well)

Cool! Got to give this a try later

Here's one of my most recent glitches

(actually it was made by using the slit scan technique on a folder full of 1000 glitched .bmps)

Woah thats cool! How exactly did you do that? I googled slit scanning and didnt get anything that looked like that.

Wow, I haven't heard that name in ages, is that still a thing, or are you using the same version that I still have installed on my win98 laptop?

You can download the newest version here, http://www.goldwave.com/release.php

Through WordPad I tried copy+pasting from one of my mp3s into an image, but it just came out as half-noise/half-original-image. Now I'm afraid I might break something if I do too much stuff like that. I want to try pasting the data of an mp3 in-between the top and bottom (which i assume is header-footer informatoin?) and see what happens... is this dangerous?

If you have Photoshop you can make a blank white picture and save it as a photoshop raw file. Make sure the header is 0 because altering the header causes the image to break, if theres no header theres no breaking. open the raw file into the audio editor your using, paste in your song, and open it back up in photoshop. Presto you turned your song into a picture.

Its not too bad i guess. Most of my newer/better songs are on my second cart (which I am backing up tomorrow) but since some were written for 2 dmgs I lost the master halves of those which sucks. luckly I have a few mp3s (I literally recorded them last week lol) which means I can rebuild and rework.

Ok, so I heard that the battery in an ems cart usually last for a bout 2 years right? Ive had mine for little over a year now and Eveything that was on it is now wiped out. I havent saved any sav files in  a long time so im fucked there. I put the cart in a gba sp for the first time just now and it said reading ram or whatever and that was that. was it the gba sp. I have always used my dmg or cgb.  Idk maybe im in denial or something. I made a fucking noob mistake and waited to long to save shit. I really hate myself right now.

You're a genius. I can't say that enough.
