They definitely weren't post, but I'm sure the delay is unintentional. Let's not get too feisty with him on here; I imagine he's trying his best!

bummer tongue

hey man, thanks for being communicative, and don't worry about the delay. i'm real excited to see the case!

I think Trippy-H, by design, colors your composition with its limitations and pallet. I can definitely tell when something was generated by Trippy-H, especially the rhythms, and that's sometimes desirable. It's kinda cool and minimalistic.

This is a weird sentiment to start a thread about. The pricing is pretty well explained in this gigantic thread:  http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/4170/ … boy-carts/

I'm interested in this, where are you getting them manufactured?

It's a place called National Audio (http://nationalaudiocompany.com/). They give a good deal on small relatively small batches with colored cassetes, duplication, imprinting, j-cards, etc. etc.

Their site looks sketch, but I've heard good things and they've been pretty alright to deal with so far. Hopefully I won't need to edit this referral!

cassettes will be available anywhere from 2 weeks - a month depending on how long it takes the manufacturer

Hey guys,
this isn't the chippiest of chip, but it's something I did, and I'd appreciate it if you guys would check it out! Downloads are free!

tri-fold presentation boards! It's like a science fair, you can hang xmas lights, prices/merch can be displayed, and you can make them look really cool in a relatively small space.

Glad this question got some justice!

For the record, the card I got to work is running a different version of LSDJ than the affected card.

can lsdj run on google???

I may be wrong, but it sounds like somewhere in your signal chain the two stereo tracks are summing and shorting each other out; your whole recording seems to be lacking gain and some of the original frequencies.

Are you recording in stereo or mono? If you're using a stereo cable running to your mic-in (presumably mono), this might be the issue.

Do you have access to any kind of USB or firewire recording interface?

you know im noticing you put a jumper wire between what looks to be a spot for a .1uf cap... it looks unnecessary.

I was told that jumper is necessary to power the board via the 5v pin on the cable. Perhaps I misunderstood. I'm still working on figuring this stuff out!

I'm however noticing that the pin headers are not soldered (right?) That means that there's no guarantee that all the pins will mate. You probably should solder all these in place. (I'm pretty sure you didn't solder them on the bottom as there's plastic in the way. wink )

You are correct. I should've mentioned that exception!
