i used red hair dye once, and they came out pink. probably because the dye was old.

both are made from ABS plastic, so the headlight cleaner stuff should work.
i have no idea how well, though.

i think they're more of a novelty than anything.
but then again, so are custom gameboys in general.
(i still think they're cool, though)

I think nanoloop with its FM synthesis is nice for making ambient tracks.
i just got nanoloop 2.6 in the mail about 20 minutes ago, and i'm blown away at how well it does ambient stuff.

Re: DMG or GBA SP? (21 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
a while ago, i traded a GBA SP for a DMG with a friend, and I kind of wish i had kept the GBA SP. they're really cool and portable, and they don't require modding or janky add-ons to be visible in the dark.
everyone likes DMGs because they're fat and indestructible, and they naturally have more bass than other models. if it really makes a difference to you, that's why mixers have EQ knobs

Re: Your thoughts on the chip music community (213 replies, posted in General Discussion)
...it's when you indulge in it to often or too deeply that you start to become a narcissistic or insular community. That's pretty much where we are now.
this is why I try to focus more on making music, instead of arguing with y'all, or even discussing all that much. I've only been a part of the chip community for a little short of a year, and I think this community is great.

thanks for adding prices, by the way.

yeah bro, you have to include a price you think it's worth, even if you only want to trade.
it's probably a good idea to do this, seeing as making the moderators mad is a pretty terrible thing.
