allright. But just to precise some things, I have been lucky enough to get a legit genmdm.
Unfortunately our teensy fried after some time. It is the part plugged to the joypad port. So we ordered a teensy, burnt the firmware to it, and it worked.
After that, we thought that we could make a 'backup copy' of the code contained in the cartridge, so we bought a retrode and dumped it.
The rom *seems* to function in an emulator. It boots, but we couldn't get far with normal joypad presses.
But we tested the rom with a mega everdrive on real hardware, and it is working.
So we now have a backup copy of both parts of the genmdm ;-)

Would it be unfair to release the genmdm rom?
I tried it on a MD everdrive and it works...

The developer told me that timing is the main defference between the PAL and the NTSC version.
He told me that inside the CM, there is an  Atmega168 chip, that can be reflashed (but I didn't try)
I suggested the use of a sysex or a special note to switch between the two timings, but I don't thin he implemented it.
