Isn't there a sticky about the definitions of chiptune, chipmusic, 8-bit, etc?
Here it is: http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/3988/ read-this/
It sounds chippy to me. Definitely not 8-bit.

Not only that, but:
Kuske on saxophone, clarinet, ukulele, recorder and Andes 25F; with Eddie on congas, bongos, ukelele, trumpet and trombone.
I am excitee.
Excuse me... I've got to... I've got to step out for a minute... feel free to carry on without me...

that's how i did it lololol
I'm really bad at that...
This stuff quickly grew on me. I love it.
I've always wanted to learn it. Been thinking about making one out of PVC pipe or something. I just figured I'd throw the idea out there to the cip community in case nobody had thought of it before. I think, sonically, didgeridoo and chiptune are a good mix.
Also, some inspiration to any potential didgstep artists out there:

...to see a chip musician do something like this:
I think if I had a hedgehog as a pet, I'd want an echidna to compliment it.
It was funny in that one thread, and the rare times it was used in any other thread... but over-saturation can ruin even the best of things... =\
have you checked:
recording levels on your pc.
recording levels on your gameboy.
lead from gameboy isn't going into microphone socket. (you want line-in though tbh most laptops these days share that with microphone)Set the DMG to about 2/3rds volume and your PC recording level to 50%. Record in Audacity, the signal won't be hugely loud but it won't peak or distort. Then use the Normalize feature to boost it to a greater level. (don't do normalize over and over again and don't use amplify or whatever the equiv. is)
But tbh if your original signal is bad even the best clean-up software isn't going to fix it.
What's wrong with using amplify?
How about you get a good name and not some extra-long sentences?
Technically short sentences but you know...

But those arp harmonies are so un-ukulele-friendly
I think the best man to do a cover of Watermelon Party is 10k.
=\
Yeah yeah yeah... ::\
Edit: Also, in the Key of C, because C# is horrible for recorder.

Yo tailer, I'ma let you finish, but there are plenty of GM games that are super glorious and bug-free. That's no excuse.
I'll check it out tomorrow night. I used to be AALLL into the GM scene back in the day, so my hopes are high for this one... It looks fun.
My understanding is that muddyGB was never really completed, which is why the B button acts weird and doesn't do anything useful, and probably why it acts laggy in emulation.
There is no latency on real hardware.
Huh. That's too bad. Too bad it wasn't open-sourced.
It's funny, before I'd heard about muddy gb, I had an idea about adding a freeplay mode to LSDJ, using the d-pad for notes, and the other buttons for other things. Then, come to find out, it's already been done.
Man... it's just that one feature missing and it'd be perfect. Oh well, I still love it.
Thanks for the info.
Congrats whoever you are
