Yes, and then release B before releasing start/select to keep it that way. Press B with the cursor on the track to unmute it.

Wow! This album was great. This is definitely going into "travel music" collection.

No, he doesn't. he tries to do that, but he can't so he says "Ok, fuck it. Let's talk about arpeggios."

I tried to reproduce this on my own, but sound is very thin.

Oh. My bad.

I wonder if he couldn't have just gone into the instrument screen and looked at it instead of trying to remake it from scratch.

Anyway... yeah, use Q. That'll give you some overtones.

I liked the first one.

The second one I was expecting to be a bit more "groovy", as in, all the instruments jamming together in the same "groove" rather than cutting their own grooves all over the place. It was... artistic, at least... =\ Not my kind of music, but there's probably a niche for it somewhere.

Lol. I've been trying to make my wav basses loud WITHOUT the extra harmonic note playing above it.

haha I gave up because many of the classic NES and GB basses have that anyway.

Have you tried a non-tracker music maker like Sound Club or LMMS?

Also... how are you a chiptune promoter... without... knowing...

hmm... nevermind... =\

I've heard that Modplug tracker and fasttracker are pretty good.

My uncle used aluminum foil to wire a 2-AA-battery-powered lamp [night-light?] to my sister's pocket and it worked somehow. When the batteries died the screen faded out instead of just cutting straight off like pockets are known to do.

I wish I knew the specs of that light, and why it was able to work that way.

Anyway... yeah...

Man... I shouldn't have read the comments before listening sad

Eh... the chord progressions sound like stuff I've made up on ukulele, so no "Oh snap, how did the progression get there!!?" moments.

It was cool, though. I enjoyed it. Not my cup of tea, but I can at least appreciate it for what it is.

If you go to the demo page and then click the "parent directory" button, it'll take you to where you can get to the full version and other stuff.

Sweet.

Wish they could have made more use of the noise channel, though. =\

I liked "Session" and the other instrumentals that came on that CD.

So. Is there a generic term that we can all agree on using instead of "EDM" then, since that has such negative connotations attached to it?

I started listening to the Chiptune station at Digitally Imported, thinking I'd get to hear my favorite vgm tunes. But there was too much noisy dance music (at least, what I consider to be noisy dance music), not enough melodic video game-style music, so I switched to GOSU Radio.

But now I listen to DI Chiptunes again. I can appreciate it a bit more now that I'm a little deeper into the chipmusic scene.

I listen to them both.

Interesting mix of pencil, pixel art, and ttf in your album artwork, there.

This music is so manly. It makes me want to throw a football or something.
