Mine is letting people think I'm a nice guy, when I'm actually a bitter shell of a man.

Wait, I'm actually not sure how that relates to Game Boys…

No prob. Not so much intended as "RTFM" so much as "the manual explains it better than I can." smile

I think 18 broken game boys and some terrible acting are worth it for a Ronald Reagan Tetris double entendre.

Edit: I wonder if he wants to sell those broken Game Boys…

You need to select multiple items, there's a button combo shortcut to do this.

Check the manual for specific details.

If any, what are the pros/cons of pre-pot and post-pot?

Pre-pot: louder
Post pot: Usage of volume control

I'll readily admit that my bias is towards pre-pot. When you connect the pro-sound pre-pot, you're skipping another part of the headphone amp circuit that colors the sound output and is failure prone.

Oh, sick, I've been working on a batch of these too! We'll have to check notes sometime!

Also, for any of those with doubts, I'd like to publicly opine that Boddah is both a proficient modder and a cool dude. I got some DMG parts from him recently for a fair price, and in excellent working condition; that merits recognition beyond the well-earned +1 in the feedback thread. smile

if someone knows a solution to the issue i encountered - inconsistency in alignment between printers - or just has a lot of exposure with template making for a widely used software (word, etc), i'd be up for sending a sheet to you if you'll send back said template!

I know how to do this sort of thing, I'll look into it and get in touch when I have something to show. smile

I'd like to that Ultramega for making a great GB Dev/Demotool, and I'd like to thank thebitman for reminding me why I deleted my OKCupid account.

If I correctly recall, you want a 3v 3mm LED, but someone double-check me on that.

InactiveX is on the money. You master for a medium.

Vinyl mastering for example consists  of a several preventative measures, as well as the standard mastering steps, for the protection of the cutting head (such as ensuring the lower notes are in phase).

Thank you both for clarifying this; it refocused my own use of the word as well as my concept of what mastering is and can be.

Ah, the day a young chip enthusiast discovers demoscene.

We just witnessed something beautiful, gentlemen. smile

Doesn't the prosound get in the way if you are using it whilst holding the GBL?

That's done the way I do my Game Boy Colors, and it's fine.

It doesn't really get in the way at all, you just let the cable pass through your fingers.

I really like what I've been able to find of that. 4mat, do you have any specific examples you'd say are very good, or know of places that are focused more on that style of music?

I've listened to a lot of Zalza's jazzier stuff, and I've casually crawled through AMP/Scene.org and the MOD archive, but I just don't have the experience to have heard it all yet. wink
