Looking at the video more closely, I noticed that there's a guy standing next to the projector holding an iPad (iPad isn't actually visible, but I was there and I'm remembering it more now). Any idea of some sort of iPad/other computer visualizer?

I've never seen any information as to what is producing the visuals for anamanaguchi's show here:

Whenever looking at videos of people performing chiptune live, most people have trippy, random visuals flashing behind them. I am aware that many people create these visuals through a circuit bent NES or other console. However, I'm having a hard time finding information on how people do things that involve strange animations being mixed together. So, what other methods exist for creating concert visuals?

This topic will answer all of the new LCD questions you have, except for "when will this be available?"

Kitsch is working on making replacement screens with built-in backlights, but god only knows when they may become available.

1. Open up audacity. If you don't have it, something's wrong with you.
2. If it's the first time you're doing this, go to Edit>prefrences>File formats tab>Uncompressed export format box>Dropdown box.  Change whatever it is to other, then in the pop up box, change Header to RAW (header-less), and Encoding to A-law
3. Save your pics as .bmp for best results, in my experience
4. Go to project>import raw data, pick your picture, song, etc. When it asks other stuff, change the boxes to A-law and big-endian.
5. Don't mess with the beginning, it's the header. Add effects like echo and stuff.
6. Get creative
7. ???
8. profit.

Nothing more peaceful and happy than sabrepulse and knife city! ./joke

In seriousness, I listen to "Four Color Hero" by Protodrome all the time when I'm in need of some fun tunes big_smile
Also, "Sunlight" by Nikola Wallon is fun, too.

This post on a yoyo modifaction forum had some good-sounding information to it. If the case took the die nicely, it would be totally kickass to be able to make custom-tinted dmg cases (is it strange that soaking a dmg case in acetone, hot ter, and dye scares me less than painting from the inside?)

I'd totally be interested in seeing the results this would produce!

ALSO! A mod should change the title to point out that this is wondering about transparent plastic, as there are no doubt many users who skipped this thread assuming that it is just someone who doesn't understand how the search function works.

Can't wait!

Go slow, use a new blade, and other things that have already been said.

As a side note, that closeup of the broken LCD is pretty awesome looking!
