I'd be quite sceptical too, if it wasn't for the large amount of box that it has as well, then again, I can't read the glorious nippon's language, so it could just be a normal box, with a modded MGB in it.

it's called a boner.
I don't tend to cringe so hard that I bite my own forehead when I get a boner

You can download the newest version here, http://www.goldwave.com/release.php
Dude, it looks exactly the same, you think they'd have changed the UI just a little bit over the years.
i didn't on purpose, it was a shitty tape deck i bought from goodwill!
it was my favorite tape!
lol, I bought my copy of dookie from goodwill for like 30p. I think I gave it back after I got it on CD, just so another person could enjoy a good album, for hella cheap.
I used the script found here: http://www.discoverdigitalphotography.c hy-how-to/. It works on Linux and Windows (probably Mac as well)
That's pretty cool, I'm going to have to try that out at some point.

It's a weird 3D world, that's all. It almost looks like a badly made game, which can be terrifying.
it is roughly 13-15 years old, but yeah, rendering distances can be a bit freaky, when something just appears out of nowhere, it's age is part of it's charm.

But it's a common misconception that acid makes you see things, whereas in actual fact, it makes you see weird colours. On tv shows and the like, when someone takes acid, they always trip shit, and see like gorillas in glasses, riding unicycles, when actually, you wouldn't see anything like that if you actually took the drug.

hey justin, have you backlit one yet?
I'm pretty sure that the GB Boy colour is already backlit
Also kitsch, I forgot to mention this sooner, could you add a disclaimer of some sort to your custom cases that point out that if you have a game genie, then you won't be able to use it with your cases. I mean it seems blatantly obvious now that I've tried it, but at the time, I didn't think I'd have a problem. Still love your cases though, I just use my game genie in my color now.

Interesting. When I pull an all nighter/ 2 all nighters in a row, I often feel quite paranoid, like there's something around me. Going to ask a few people that I know who take durgs to see if they've ever had anything similar.

I don't think I had nightmares but I definitely "hallucinated" the Shadow Man coming for me while I lay in bed with my PSP and all the lights off.
I had a similar thing, at night I was afraid of turning round, incase I saw him, and anytime I closed my eyes, I thought he'd be there when I opened them. I stopped after a while, when I realized that he doesn't actually do anything, other than make you jump.

If you are in doubt, don't release. Wait until you have something you are sure you will like.
This, if you like you music, and are proud of it, and certain that it is good, then release it. I spend a while mulling over whether or not I actually want to release a track, it's stopped me from releasing stuff which is quite frankly garbage.

Re: WTT/WTS: Some funky colored carts :) (22 replies, posted in Trading Post)
Yeah, chepe!, it looks good. We have a deal! I will PM my details to you later.
Unfortunately I can't get ANY type of flashcart here in Korea, I will have to import from the States or Europe.
I can get my hands on a lot of multicarts and pirate/hacked-rom carts though, for GB and GBA, of varying quality, and for varying prices, and I'm willing to sell or trade for other games, consoles or flashcarts. I can even get bootleg Famicom consoles and games, but I'm not sure if anybody would be interested in it.
The only reason I'm trading/selling these is because I know that these things aren't easy to get hold of in other countries and that there HAS to be people who are as fascinated by the illegal side of retro gaming as I am.
If anybody has any requests for bootleg gaming stuff, I MIGHT look into it...
I am interested in bootleg consoles, very, very interested in bootleg consoles. I am also interested in pirate carts and the like in general, I have a few gba knock offs, and things like that, and I'm always looking to expand my collection. I'm looking for bootleg consoles mostly, but if any interesting carts pop up, I'm also interested in them. I have a few un-modded CGBs up for trade if you're interested.

You hadn't realized, it's pretty obvious that it's ironic, and it's not hard to put two and two together, and realize it was released after your own guide was created, to poke fun at you.

Don't worry; we behind aanaaanaaanaaana.net are not in the business of mocking individuals.

about all bit wish has that it doesnt is a link to a tutorial and a link to an emulator...Im sorry, i don't have internet at my house so the only times i get to use it are when my neighbors arnt home and at school and mcdonalds. So i got bored and wrote it.
You're digging yourself deeper man, you're backpedaling so that we don't take the article seriously, and so that it looks like it was kind of a joke, even though you were dead serious about it, before you received harsh, but honest criticism.

I spoilered that for a reason yo, just in case anyone hasn't played the game themselves, I'd appreciate it if you edited your post and added a spoiler to it or something.
But no, of course that's not what I'm saying, I was saying that bit wish is the same kind of person as him, get's way over excited, and is a bit of an embarrassment.

Re: I wrote an article on how to chiptune (90 replies, posted in General Discussion)
it's sort of hard to take constructive criticism when it's delivered with this much scorn.
People are harsh/ dicks, it happens. Don't just not listen to what they say because the offended you, if anything, those who have the balls to say what they think, are going to be better at giving you CC than those who only say it's plus points, while avoiding the negative side of things
and Bit Wish, just so that you don't just write off Saskrotch's remark as some kind of douchebag comment, i'm telling you right now that he and most everyone in this thread is 100% correct. I read your "article" and it was so haphazardly put together that i couldn't bother taking it seriously enough to analyze it in any detail. And i'd like to think i'm a pretty tolerant guy when it comes to this stuff.
Okay BW, read this next bit carefully. I have some suggestions for you that WILL absolutely make your life better, for yourself, and for the rest of us. I'm saying DO THESE THINGS RIGHT NOW and immediately your experience will improve dramatically.
1) Please, please stop doing any more of your little projects with the expectation that it's of any value to the chipmusic community. The article was a waste of our time, and even your time -- not because you wrote it, but because from the content of the article you clearly didn't have enough experience or knowledge to contribute anything substantial to the community. That's where you are right now, but that can change over time. Therefore....
2) ... Please be quiet for a while, don't post in any topics, and use the next few months to observe and learn. Many of your posts are inappropriate or don't make any logical sense, and the result is that it's confusing and angering a lot of the other people here. You clearly don't yet understand yet how to interact well in a community, so take some time to learn before you consider hopping back in. In the meantime, use this time to listen to more chipmusic, learn more about various techniques and platforms, and try to observe how people here might act in a way that results in good discussion.
3) Focus on writing music. Write more music. Over time, write better music. Post it here. Post it elsewhere. Just write more music. You'll feel better. You'll also naturally learn something new each time.
I'm serious man. do all the things above. You'll thank me later.
So lurk more, post less pretty much?
I don't come to this site often, only when i need help or am having a pm conversation as i am now, ok, let me just get to the point, i don't know how the people at this site are, as in attitude wise.
Maybe it's not him, maybe it's the site. He posted the same topic in 3 other chip based websites, and didn't get scolded.
And please remember that this thing was in the beta testing, he was asking for things to add or to fix, he wasn't presenting an finished project.
"Please, please stop doing any more of your little projects with the expectation that it's of any value to the chipmusic community."
The only opportunities you'll ever get are the ones you make your self.
First of all, out of curiosity, where else did he post it? I don't remember seeing it on ucollective, and that's the only other chip site that I browse.
Secondly, I think bryface is asking him to stop doing little projects because they aren't beneficial. No offense to bit wish, but you know that dude who's younger than everyone else, who nobody actually likes that much, but no one has the heart to tell to fuck off, well that's kinda how I see bit wish. Another good example is that guy who always gets way too excited about new things he hears about, and almost obsesses about them, I have a friend who does this kinda thing a lot. I lent him exit through the giftshop, and within a week, he ordered at least 2 banksy t-shirts, started tagging, and made a facebook page about borf. Another example is video game based, for anyone who's ever played mafia 2, you know the kid who Joe brings with him, but ends up getting

but yeah, him, he's the kinda guy bit wish is to "the community" Although, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the guy, nor do I think of myself as being particularly part of the community or whatever, I'm just pointing out that the guy has kinda built a negative reputation for himself.
