machinarium is a great game, been a out for a little while.

botanicula came out recently, haven't played it.  same studio.  will be playing soon.

the music for those two games is pretty remarkable.  floex/tomas dvorak on the first, DVA on second.  excellent.

not really sure the platform you're looking for...

hey, yeah i'm super sorry.  i'm sitting right now doing my backlog of packages.

i replied to your email as well, a little while ago.  it may have gone to spam, but generally the personal issue stuff, very very sorry, i'm catching up right now.  smile

Is it ok that I drop my stuff at blip instead of shipping it from the Netherlands? The shipment will probably arrive later in NY than I am. By the way, I sent you a pm!

thats perfectly fine!  works great with me...

seems to be just you

to everyone who has ordered in the past few days and hasn't gotten a shipment notice...

and to everyone who's emailed without a reply in the last couple days.

going through a bit of a personal dilemma thats meant i've been away from KB stuff.  i'm extremely sorry about the delay.  if its made you mad to the point of a refund, thats totally fine by me.  its not my style to take this long.

with that being said, hopefully today i can get everything sent out.  it'll be today or tomorrow.

again, my apologies, its just me holding down the fort here these days and...  well, ya know.

a yearbook format might work well for a collective history type book.

they are in china, you can get them on taobao.

hey downstate....  you should look into that.  there is a huge demand, last time i checked taobao they were on there.  there is potential in that.

for all the REALLY hardup smartboy-wating people, check out taobao buying services, you can get them to purchase it and ship for a free.  buyfromtaobao.com for example...

there is another service that starts with either a B or a H that i've used, can't remember right now.  buyfromtaobao is ok though, slightly slower.

the more complicated the device, the more things there are which can go wrong/break.  however some components have expiry dates, so in that way the older things may die first because of part selection rather than the fundamental design.

Also, chipcoalition.com ... I remember that happening.

i don't think anyone noticed it died though tongue

8bit-forums happened for a week too.  maybe a week.

oh yeah, thats not what i meant.  i should have said "provide a satisfying enough explanation/background to those who have asked".  wrapped up their inquiries, is what i meant.

anyways, here is the post i was thinking of, chipflip: http://chipflip.wordpress.com/2010/01/1 … leepbloop/

someone wrote a blog writeup all about this.  it was good too.  goto80 maybe, someone know?  it would sort of wrap the tale up for everyone...

jeez.

i've got a bunch of screencaps and stuff from when that happened, there were some really funny pics people made and they creeped into the images section.

that was a very not fun bit of adventure though.

edit -- i don't recall why e.s.c. was banned, that confused everyone...  low-gain earned his, i remember that (i guess i did too).  e.s.c.'s ban was really strange.

also, there was a considerable amount of information/threads that were deleted from 8bc.  this both preceded this event (smartboy banishment, for example), and followed.  a lot went missing after this, some good info too from what i remember...   *including my feedback threads which i was sort of proud of*

the deleted data issue is a driving force behind why cm.o doesn't do this.

soldering it wouldn't be an issue.  its plenty big enough to do with normal equipment.

the footprints being much different is an issue however.

ashimoke, where is that breakout board sold, do you know?  could use it...

if it isn't a product thats available, i have no problem in doing a run of PCBs if you guys are interested (for breadboarding).  easy pcb, wouldn't take long.  but, if they are already done, i just wanna know where to get one...

I was just wondering what happened to that dude that worked on the bleep bloop that put a sticker right on veronique's titty. And then I was like "did anyone make a grope tit collective joke"

ah yes, that dude.  i had managed to forget him...  thanks Saskrotch.

he was brought on as jose's PR person, it makes that whole situation so much worse.  his professionalism dealing with me was well below par as well, like a middle schooler.  not to mention the whole sticker incident.

that dude, jeremy something.  f-ing joke.
