the right channel being dead sort of seems like a trend to me, i've bought tons of junkers and it seems like if there is an audio problem its ALWAYS in the right channel

don't know the reason why though

i've found the little throwaway towels used to clean eye glasses work well.  'lens cleanser pad' or something like that.

they don't scratch, are pre-soaked in an alcohol based solution just for this sort of thing, and are individually wrapped for convenience.  and, they should dry streak-free since they are for glasses

if you or someone in your house happens to wear glasses, track them down and give it a shot!

^^^ your acetone info is wrong, sorry, don't know how to say it nicer.  it will do a bit of damage to the plastic's integrity in a very minimal amount of time...  (which, as Apeshit said, is ABS...  Nintendo added bromine (i believe) to the mix as a fire retardant, which is why it 'yellows', but its nothing special apart from that)

diluted or not, acetone will eat away at the integrity of the plastic, which is why its used in the 'rit dye' mod, for example.  many people do that coloring mod by making their own mix of water:acetone, in 4:1 ratios even and it will work (in minutes)

nail polish remover will totally damage the plastic if it sits too long, or isn't removed totally

nail polish remover = acetone (unless you've used some sort of acetone-free variety).  well, acetone is a main active ingredient at the least

a few customers have been using it with a lot of success as well, the ones that have told me at least

in the past 6 months, i'd say i've gotten 7-10 requests for this reason (different people)

^ and this is considering i haven't supported BB stuff for a long time now...

if that sort of info helps...  (regardless, fully support the purpose of this which will be revealed later...  just have a hunch)

the programmers normally go for a bit, exactly for the reason nitro2k01 mentioned.

when i cleared out the last of my old stash the non-USB carts were an issue because everyone wanted a programmer to go with them.  not being able to interact with the tech bothered most people, but the people that already had programmers sure made out like bandits...

i tried to find the right specs for the led's online but i didn't find any infos regarding the voltage. that's why I'm asking here.
do the digital pins of all arduino modells have a built in resistor? otherwise it would destroy the led if i use them without a resistor.

i believe only one pin does (13 if memory recalls), the very early arduino boards didn't at all though i'm not really sure if that feature is standard now or not.  basically...  its set up so you can do the "Blinky" (or whatever) tutorial with just the LED and pretty immediately...

^ this has been going through my head for the extra buttons project from the other thread, the issue is giving them guides on the internal side of the case, like the A/B buttons would typically have.  even with the button sticking out of the hole a bit they can still slip off without a little extra support (like the guides for the two tabs sticking out the sides).  if the project enclosure you're using is thicker than the dmg case 'wall', then i've already got a solution for you.  (i'm just thinking a thicker case the button sticks through would better hold it in place)

if some clever person can think of a quick fix, lemme know wink
